A purple-red color appointment right in front of Myeongji University

I made a reservation beforehand and went in~! I got my hair colored, haha!

It is located right in front of Myeongji University, so it seems super convenient for students and everyone else to visit! I actually set off from Hongdae, and it was a quick bus ride, so it was really easy!

The salon interior was also very neat and clean, which I loved~ haha.

A color consultation tailored to my hair condition

I had been wanting to keep changing my hair color lately, and this time I decided to try a color I had not done before! The color I chose was in the purple-and-red family! Rather than something very bright or vivid, I wanted a subtle shade with a red cast as well as a purple feel. During the consultation, I explained the tone I wanted, and they worked with my hair condition to make it happen~!

This was my hair before the color appointment! The old dye had faded patchily, and my roots had grown out a lot, so it looked like I urgently needed a refreshㅜㅜ! Even when you use the same dye color, the result can differ depending on your current hair condition and what treatments you have had before, right?! They checked my hair condition and consulted with me so the color I wanted could come through as well as possible~!

From scalp protection through the coloring process

Before starting, they carefully sprayed on a scalp protectant too, which made me feel even more at ease, haha!

Once we had chosen the color, they carefully applied the dye all over my hair~! Since my hair is on the long side, I thought it would naturally take quite a while, but they divided it into sections and applied it thoroughly, so I was comfortable while I waited, haha. Once the dye was on, I could see the color gradually developing in my hair. Since this time it was a mix of red and purple tones, I was quietly excited to see what color it would turn out to be!

They also brought me a drink and snacks while I waited, so I did not get bored, haha!

After waiting long enough for the color to develop nicely, we moved on to shampooing!

A soft purple-red that changes with the light

After shampooing and drying my hair, the finished color came out far prettier than I had expected!

They also carefully applied curl cream to bring out the texture of my previously permed hair~!

Overall, it is a color with a subtle red cast and mysterious touches of purple throughout. In the light, the red shows up a little more clearly, while indoors the purple comes through softly, so I loved how the same hair looked slightly different depending on the angle~! What I loved most was that it was not an artificially vivid color! The color settled naturally throughout my hair, so it did not feel overwhelming, yet it definitely created a different mood from before I dyed it. Because my hair is long, it was pretty seeing the red and purple blend together whenever it moved. The color honestly looked even prettier in person than in photos! I chose it because I wanted to try something a little different from my usual look, and the purple-red combination suited me much better than I expected, so I was very satisfied. ❤️💜 The whole appointment, from consultation to finish, was comfortable, and I liked that they worked according to my hair condition rather than simply recommending other treatments.
