Nutty peanut butter, choco deep fudge, mint choco: Beurre Beurre

I'd had dinner in Konkuk and wanted dessert!! I was debating between ice cream and a café, and while walking by I spotted an ice cream shop, so in I went!! This is Beurre Beurre Konkuk University Rodeo Branch, a butter ice cream spot in Konkuk.

I'd seen Beurre Beurre ice cream in Seongsu before too, and since I love ice cream in general, being butter ice cream made me even more excited!!

The interior was clean and pleasant, and it was really nice that there was seating to sit and eat! Haha. Let's check the menu!

From single to six-pack: the menu and prices

Ice cream is the main thing at Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch — single (135g), double (175g), triple (365g), quadruple (675g), and a six-pack (6 single cups) — plus coffee, drink lattes, shakes, sodas, cup bingsu, and cookies!

We visited as two people, and I was torn between two singles or a triple, but since there were three flavors I wanted, I went with the triple (₩11,200) haha.

Which flavors I picked from the 16

You just pick from 16 flavors, but the visuals and colors were all so pretty and varied, and everything looked delicious, so it was hard to choose haha. In the end I picked the best-menu items: nutty peanut butter, choco deep fudge, and mint choco prince!

Apparently premium butter ice cream Beurre Beurre is made using French butter with 82% milk fat! You order at the kiosk, and after ordering I noticed there's a sample tasting service right next to it haha. Next time I should try the samples before ordering!! Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch is currently running a ₩1,900 americano event, so keep that in mind!!

Nutty Peanut Butter

I scooped up the best-menu nutty peanut butter first, and it was a sweet-and-savory ice cream full of nuttiness! They say Beurre Beurre ice cream minimizes air compared to regular ice cream for a dense texture, with a rich mouthfeel that melts slowly — and that was exactly right! It felt just like gelato, and you could really taste the butter!

Choco Deep Fudge

Second was the deep chocolate choco deep fudge, which felt like eating dense chocolate ice cream! It wasn't hard or icy at all — soft and thick, the kind you slowly melt bite by bite haha.

Mint Choco Prince

Last was mint choco prince! Mint chocolate is such a love-it-or-hate-it flavor, right? I'm firmly in the love-it camp, but Beurre Beurre's mint choco prince has a strong mint flavor, so I think it'll definitely split opinions haha.

How was it as a post-dinner dessert?

I enjoyed alternating between the three flavors like this! I feel like ice cream can sometimes get tiring the more you eat, but Beurre Beurre is rich without being overly heavy, so it feels perfect as a dessert after a meal! Next time I want to try other flavors haha.
