Who I'd recommend this to

- Anyone stuck on what dessert to add to a Konkuk date course
The vibe and seating at Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo
The deep flavor of French butter, so much happiness packed into one scoop. The moment I walked in, I could feel that distinct Beurre Beurre atmosphere. Customers kept streaming into the Konkuk branch nonstop, and I immediately understood why they had so many waiting chairs set up.
Most people were taking their orders to go, but there's also a small table area set up inside, so you can sit and eat there for a bit if you want.

I'd been to Beurre Beurre before, so I already knew very well how good their butter-based ice cream is! It's a premium lineup made from butter, so it's on a different level flavor-wise. They use French premium butter with 82% milk fat, so from the very first bite that deep, rich flavor spreads all through your mouth.

To-go starts at triple size, priced at ₩11,200
I usually just get a single scoop, but this time I wanted to enjoy it in a bigger portion, so I went with the to-go option. FYI, to-go packing is only available starting from the triple size — after being teased with just single scoops before, getting handed this triple-size container felt like it was packed full with great value for the price.
The triple lets you pick three flavors, priced at ₩11,200. (For reference, an extra shopping bag is ₩300, but I just went with the plain paper bag packaging!)

Less air, more density — the texture you feel through the spoon
Because of how it's made, air is minimized, which gives it that impressively dense, weighty texture. You can feel the density the moment your spoon goes in, but the second it hits your mouth, it melts down soft and rich.
Let me walk you through the three flavors I picked this time, one by one.

Nutty Peanut Butter — Beurre Beurre's signature flavor
Nutty Peanut Butter, which I'd had before too, is Beurre Beurre's signature flavor. There was an Americano promo running at ₩1,900, so last time I had coffee along with it!
My first pick near Konkuk, Nutty Peanut Butter. It's a flavor where Beurre Beurre's signature buttery note and nutty peanut taste combine in nice balance. It's the textbook definition of sweet-and-salty with a savory punch, so I kept going back for more without getting tired of it.

Neatly scooping the ice cream and then checking the weight!

The paper packaging bag! They packed the ice packs in nicely too!
Walnut Caramel — a must if you love nuts
My second pick, Walnut Caramel. It has a nuttiness in a similar vein to the peanut butter, so if you're normally into nuts or peanut butter-style flavors, you're bound to love this one.
Right in the middle of the crunchy, nutty walnut bits, a luxurious caramel sweetness wraps around your whole mouth, smooth and gentle.

Oh! Lemonji — the kick that cuts through the richness
The last one I picked, Oh! Lemonji! It's an appealing flavor that completely cuts through the heaviness of the two I had before. With orange and lemon mixed together, it plays a lovely role of resetting your palate, refreshing and clean, even amid the heavy butter texture.

Why Beurre Beurre was a great pick for dessert near Konkuk
A weekend filled with sweetness, a little happiness lingering in my mouth! With a mouthful of the Konkuk Beurre Beurre ice cream, I could really taste the dense flavor and the quality of the raw ingredients, and with that clean sweetness, it felt like the day's fatigue just melted away.
