Hangover soup (₩12,000) × 2 orders / Dombe pork (small) ₩13,000

The side dishes are diced radish kimchi and green chili peppers, minced garlic and ssamjang (dipping sauce), and if you run out you just help yourself to more.

Dombe pork, small size, ₩13,000
The dombe pork (small) at ₩13,000 arrived. The slices came out thick and generous.

The moist meat and the leafy greens for wrapping were both delicious. If you came in the evening, ordering dombe pork with a soup on the side felt like the perfect setup for a shot of soju. Putting the accompanying sauce on top of the wrap made it taste even better — I ate it up happily.

Add half a spoon of minced garlic to the hangover soup
It's loaded with seasoning, green onion, beef and blood sausage, bean sprouts, Jeju-grown ugeoji (dried cabbage leaves), and glass noodles — really generous. Tip: add about half a spoon of minced garlic, and if you like it spicy, throw in some cheongyang chili too. Little tricks like these make for a great meal.

Stirring around inside the stone pot, I found a mountain of thinly sliced meat. There was also a good amount of glass noodles in the soup. Spicy and hearty in a satisfying way. I added a heaping half spoon of minced garlic. Adding the garlic completely changed the character of the broth — before, it was clean; after, it turned heavy and deep. As the hot broth went down, my stomach felt like it was clearing out, like I was genuinely getting over my hangover.
