Suwon Station pasta restaurant: cheese oven pasta and garlic sticks

Today I want to introduce my eternal,, budget-friendly go-to for solo dining near Suwon Station. It's the already super famous Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch. It's great for eating alone, but also good to visit with friends or family, so I use it all the time. This is the story of Rolling Pasta, a Suwon Station pasta restaurant!

Where is Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch, and what are the hours?

Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch is on the 2nd floor of the building you see right as you come out of Suwon Station Exit 12, at 2F, 2 Hyanggyo-ro 1beon-gil, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do. It's open daily from 11:00 to 21:30, with last order at 21:00.

Is there a wait, and what is the dining room like?

At this Suwon Station pasta restaurant, you see chairs right as you walk in. These chairs are actually the waiting chairs... On weekend lunchtimes the waiting line stretches out to the stairs outside the store. It's a system where you wait in person on site!

Here's the interior. There are really so many tables! The ones you see right when you walk in aren't all of them — there's a spacious area further inside too, so keep that in mind! It looks good for group gatherings as well.

Here's the menu board. It ranges from single items to set menus. Among Suwon Station pasta places, this is extreme, extreme, extreme value for money,,, 👍🏻

Can you bring a baby to Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch?

At Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch, aprons hang on the wall and there are baby chairs too! For reference, it seemed like they'd give you baby tableware if you asked! I recommend it as a Suwon Station restaurant you can go to with a baby 👶🏻

This seemed to be some kind of drink-making (?) space, but the interior above it looked kind of pretty >.<

How to order and what the self-bar holds

You order through the table order system and prepay! If you need wet wipes, a knife, a pizza spoon, or tongs, you just ask a staff member, apparently.

Cups, water, tissues, spoons, forks and pickles are all at the self-bar. It's self-serve from the start, so just take them. Bowls are below the self-bar!

What two people ordered: oven pasta, pizza, salad and garlic sticks

We ordered cheese-loaded oven pasta, gorgonzola pizza, ricotta cheese salad, garlic sticks and a coke. We went as two people and ordered just one coke, but they brought us an ice cup with two straws, which was nice haha.

The food doesn't take too long overall, and it mostly comes out all at once!

Cheese-loaded oven pasta

This is the cheese-loaded oven pasta I really love!!! I was already a regular at Rolling before the oven pasta even existed, and I thought about 164,546 times how I wished they'd release an oven pasta..!! And then it actually came out, and ever since then this is the only thing I order when I go to Rolling haha. Before that I used to get the rosé cream shrimp or the steak cream. (Those are also genuinely delicious!!)

It's packed with cheese so it stretches out beautifully, and the noodles are cooked all the way through! You can really taste the rich tomato sauce 🤤

Why Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch works for eating alone

The reason I recommend Rolling Pasta, this Suwon Station pasta restaurant, for solo dining near Suwon Station is..!! First of all, it's good value, and there are so many solo diners that you never feel self-conscious. Plus, one time I was just sitting there watching YouTube on my phone propped against the table while eating alone, and a staff member brought me a phone stand,,,, 🥹 Wow, so thoughtful,,,👍🏻 Ever since then I only eat alone at Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch haha. I even ate alone here a week before this visit ><

Ricotta cheese salad

Next is the ricotta cheese salad. Honestly I'm not a salad person so this was my first time trying this dish, but the friend I went with loves salads so we ordered it!

The vegetables in the salad weren't wilted at all and were fresh, and it was loaded with cheese too. Most importantly, the dressing was drizzled on just the right amount, so even a salad-hating human like me could eat it without any trouble. That square bread thing in particular was delicious 🤤

Garlic sticks

And this is one of my absolute favorite items at Rolling Pasta — the garlic sticks. It's exactly like a garlic baguette, but it's soft and chewy so it doesn't hurt your teeth,, seriously just the right amount of punch and so delicious!!!!!! If you haven't tried it, please definitely order it as a side once and try it..!!

That signature baguette hardness is basically zero here — it's really soft!!!

Small gorgonzola pizza

And we also finished off the small gorgonzola pizza. The pizza wasn't burnt at all, and the outside was nice and crispy. You know you have to dip it in honey, right~? 🤤 Eating all this, it was a bit much for two adult women!

Final verdict on Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch

The restroom is inside the store, cleanly separated by gender. Every time I go I feel the same thing — it's delicious, great value, and most of all the staff are really kind, so it's the first place that comes to mind when I think of good food near Suwon Station! If you're looking for a Suwon Station pasta restaurant or a Suwon Station Western food spot, I recommend visiting Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch! I have a 2000% intention to revisit! It's really great for solo dining after work too!
