On days like these with cool, breezy weather, there's nothing better than a coffee at a good-looking café, so I want to introduce a really nice espresso bar in Yeonnam-dong. Starting my review of Pip Espresso Bar, a great-vibe Yeonnam-dong café ☕️
Where is Pip Espresso Bar and what are its hours?
Pip Espresso Bar is located on the 1st floor of 5 Seongmisan-ro 29-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea, a 13-minute walk from Exit 8 of Hongik University Station. It's open daily from 09:00 to 23:00. Walking along the Gyeongui Line Forest Park in Yeonnam-dong, you'll find it right there.
I visited on a day with really nice weather for once, and the vibe was great even from outside ✨ Officially naming this a good-vibe Yeonnam-dong café haha
What is the terrace at Pip Espresso Bar like?
Pip Espresso Bar's terrace has a lot of seats set up, so on a nice day you can enjoy a leisurely coffee while soaking up the sun. I'd just come back from a Europe trip, and this had almost the same terrace-café vibe, which already put me in a good mood.
If you're looking for a good-vibe Yeonnam-dong café for a date or a first meeting, this is a place I'd totally recommend.
There really are a lot of terrace seats set up like this, so on a sunny day it's a space where you can relax with a coffee while feeling the sunshine.
There were actually quite a few people enjoying coffee out on the terrace, and the relaxed atmosphere really did feel like being in Europe haha
Inside Pip Espresso Bar and the vintage lighting for sale
The inside of Pip Espresso Bar had more space than I expected, and it was spacious, filled with great-vibe lighting fixtures.
There were tables of all different shapes, so you could pick a seat to your taste.
And these pretty vintage lighting fixtures were actually available for purchase. Prices were written on tags for each item, and they're apparently running a sale right now, so if you love this kind of stylish lighting, it's definitely worth browsing‼️
What is on the Pip Espresso Bar menu?
True to being an espresso specialist, they had many types of espresso ready, plus other coffee menu items too.
There was also tiramisu and financiers that looked super delicious, so I'd recommend pairing those with coffee.
They also sold cocktails, and there were some menu items running a 1+1 event.

I tried the signature Earl Grey-based Pip Coffee, and my friend ordered an iced Americano. We also ordered the tiramisu banana crumble to share 🍌
The menu arrives ✨ Look how pretty it is. First up, the Pip Coffee with Earl Grey cream base ☕️ They told us to drink it without stirring the cream in.
The soft, sweet cream with Earl Grey aroma paired amazingly with the espresso underneath. If you love Earl Grey, this menu item comes highly recommended 👍

Pip Espresso Bar's tiramisu banana crumble (₩9,500) is a dessert topped with banana and crumble over tiramisu. The inside was soaked through with very strong espresso, and it was a flavor that woke your eyes wide open lol
