Weekends get even more chaotic with kids around. For a bit of breathing room and some fun family time, I visited a Suwon bakery café that opens early in the morning. It's a great brunch spot for a kid who wakes up with the larks :D

Where is Orange Bagel, and what time does it open?

Orange Bagel is at 129 Omokcheon-ro, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, open daily 07:30–21:00. The brown brick building stands out even from far away.

There's plenty of parking right in front of the building. I love that parking is easy even when it's crowded.

What bagel flavors does Orange Bagel bake?

Various bagels displayed at Orange Bagel

There's always a wide variety of bagels whenever I come. It's fun just to browse and see if there's anything new. My kid absolutely flips at the sight of choco bagels~ Before seeing the choco one, she says she'll eat something else, but the moment she spots it, she throws a fit demanding only choco.

From basic bagels to brunch-style bagels, sandwich-style bagels, and salad-style bagels — there's a lot lined up.

The garlic bagel is always one of the tasty go-tos too.

Today I came determined to eat the Laugen butter bagel.

It's a bagel with chewy dough, a nice salty edge, and just the right texture. It's packed with butter inside too. With sweet syrup mixed in, it's full of that sweet-and-salty charm.

The cream-stuffed "chubby" bagel also catches the eye.

The takeout box is pretty too, so it's good for gifts or thank-you presents. In the morning you can also get soup alongside.

There's so much I want to eat, but the bagels are big enough that one fills me up, so it's always a dilemma. And then I end up boxing extras to go anyway.

The potato bagel is stuffed generously inside too.

I really love that there are so many variations like olive and corn, which are my favorites.

The mini bagel display was super cute. Just looking at it makes me feel full~

One bagel each: Laugen butter, choco and potato

We ordered generously, one bagel per person.

Chewy and pleasantly salty with great texture. The syrup is drizzled on the inside, so it's savory and sweet at once.

The choco bagel has choco cream generously packed inside too, making it the ultimate sweet treat. The rich chocolate and deep sweetness are irresistible. It's a menu item any kid who loves chocolate will love.

The potato bagel has a spicy kick alongside its sweetness. The generous portion feels almost like a sandwich.

It takes what would be a plain flavor and boosts it with spiciness for a lot more depth.

Feeling a bit sad it was over, we boxed a few more to take home.
