It's been a while, but I got to go on one of my favorite dates — Haenggung-dong in Suwon — and this time it was to make our second set of couple rings with my boyfriend for our 1700-day anniversary. We made them at Loventa Suwon Haenggung, booked through Naver, haha. Sitting in a private space with a great view while we made these memories was such a good time!
Where Loventa Suwon Haenggung is and where to park
Loventa Suwon Haenggung is on the 3rd floor at 22 Jeongjo-ro 861beon-gil, Paldal-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi, South Korea, not far from the entrance to Haengridan-gil! There's no elevator, though.

Inside the studio and its private rooms
The shop was bigger than I expected, and the interior felt upscale — perfect for marking an anniversary! There are several private rooms plus a larger group room, so I thought it'd also be great for friends making friendship rings together. We visited on a weekday afternoon and there was a comfortable number of couples doing the experience.

The private room with a full-length window
The private room at Loventa Suwon Haenggung has a full window wall, so you get to make your rings with a gorgeous view. The weather was so nice that day, and I kept getting distracted by the blue sky, haha. The natural light also made it easy to see the true colors of the rings. There's no door in back — just a white curtain.
We had a lot of bags with us that day, and I was glad there was a space right in the private room to hang our things as soon as we walked in!
Couple ring designs and how much they cost
Loventa Suwon Haenggung currently has 24 ring designs, made by a designer with 30 years of experience, and they were seriously sophisticated! A lot of them had a wedding-ring kind of feel, haha. And the stones set into the rings aren't just cubic zirconia — they're moissanite, a gemstone with a hardness and sparkle similar to diamond, apparently. The sparkle really was different ><
Prices ranged from ₩70,000 to ₩140,000 depending on the design. Just know that this includes VAT and the experience fee! There are also add-on options.

Choosing from 24 designs
Once the experience starts, a friendly staff member brings sample rings right to your room, and you take your time trying them on and picking a design first. Even though we'd already researched and had a few candidates in mind, all 20-something rings were so pretty that it was really hard to decide ㅜㅜ We probably spent over 20 minutes choosing, haha. The staff never rushed us and kindly told us to take our time. Choosing time is actually built into the experience time, haha. They said it was fine to try things on and take photos too~
Trying rings on and settling on Odette
These three were our final candidates. Since I already wear a ring called Engage on my ring finger, I was looking for something that would suit my index finger!! From top to bottom: 1. Odette 2. Amelia 3. Obelia!!
Ether was everyone around me's number one pick — recommended as the most sophisticated and prettiest design. I thought the design was the prettiest too, but once I actually tried it on my hand, I wasn't sure it suited me, haha. Trying it on in person really does matter most. And Misty looks much prettier in real life.
Couple rings we decided on (2 pairs) — Odette men's ₩130,000, Odette women's ₩130,000, total ₩260,000.
After a lot of deliberation, we went with Odette — his for the ring finger, mine for the index finger. Out of our final candidates, we ended up choosing Odette on the staff's recommendation.
How the ring-making works, step by step
One really nice thing about Loventa Suwon Haenggung is that they have a stand set up for filming videos or taking photos. So we took selfies and even shot time-lapses and videos to keep the memory!
Once you're done picking designs, the actual ring-making begins. First, the friendly staff member measures your ring size. Then you can either make your own ring or make each other's — we chose to make each other's rings ><
They also give you a cute apron, which made it nice for taking photos while on the date.
Most of the making process was polishing and filing the ring down! We especially enjoyed the part where you press a foot pedal to polish the ring yourself — just be careful, since the ring gets a bit hot while the machine runs! The friendly staff member showed us exactly how to do it each step of the way.
Done in 40 minutes, picked up the same day
Once you've worked hard making the rings and the whole process is done, you just go out and enjoy a bit of the date while you wait. Loventa Suwon Haenggung lets you pick up the rings the same day, which made it really convenient!! They were finished in under an hour. Once done, they call you, haha. From what I remember, it took about 40 minutes.
So we stopped by a pretty café and a gelato shop near Loventa in Haenggung-dong, enjoyed the surroundings while we waited, and then went back to pick up the rings~

Loventa Suwon Haenggung also offers a polaroid photo service. Be ready to get your picture taken!! It comes out really nice. Even better, lifetime polishing service is free! And they give you a polishing cloth too!
Is Loventa Suwon Haenggung worth it?
Loventa Suwon Haenggung is located in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, so it's easy to get to, and with its spacious floor plan, upscale interior, and private rooms, it's a great spot for couples to visit on an anniversary. The ring designs and overall packaging feel premium, making them great gifts for each other, and it was just the right space for an enjoyable date. Being able to finish and pick up the rings on the same day was the best part too. If you ever get the chance, I hope you'll have a happy anniversary date at Loventa Suwon Haenggung too.
