Two-hour couple ring date in Haenggung-dong, Suwon: Loventa

Haenggung-dong has tons of great restaurants and cafés, but it's also full of workshops you can do together as a couple! This time, instead of the usual café date, I wanted to try something special, so my boyfriend and I went to a ring studio 💍

We visited a ring studio called Loventa! What I loved most was that we got to spend our own private time together while making the rings, in a private room.

Inside Loventa: a ring studio made up of private rooms

When you're figuring out what to do with your boyfriend in Haenggung-dong, it usually comes down to restaurant → café → photos.

But this time I wanted to try something different, so while looking for things to do in Haenggung-dong, we ended up going to make rings.

One thing that mattered a lot to me when researching ring studios in Suwon was the experience space itself.

I usually pictured a ring studio as a shared space with several people working at once, but Loventa is actually set up entirely with private rooms.

This made a bigger difference than I expected — being able to chat comfortably with just my boyfriend while making the rings was really nice.

If you think about not just the ring-making process but also the time spent together, a private space was a huge plus!

And the interior was so clean and trendy! It felt genuinely upscale, like we were finally having a proper date after a while.

Since it's a private room, I wondered how we'd call staff when needed, but there was a bell right there inside.

From simple designs to more unique ones, there was a wide range of samples, so it took a while to choose.

There were honestly so many options that we spent a long time going "what should we do?" haha. But comparing several designs side by side really helped us find the style we wanted!

Loventa says its designs are made and reviewed by a jewelry designer with 30 years of experience! It's not just a matter of having lots of pretty designs on hand — apparently they're continuously developing new designs through dedicated design research too.

I also appreciated the transparent pricing! One thing that always worries me when looking into ring studios is "what if it looks cheap at first, but the price climbs once you add things?"

But Loventa's pricing clearly included VAT and gemstones upfront, so it was easy to check everything comfortably.

They also measured our ring sizes really carefully in person! Thanks to that, I finally know my exact ring size haha.

How long does making couple rings at Loventa take?

Now for the actual ring-making 💍 The design we picked was prepared for us in its raw, un-shaped state. Loventa uses verified silver 925, along with moissanite as a diamond alternative!

Honestly, at first I thought "can we actually pull this off?" but the staff guided us kindly and carefully, so it wasn't hard to follow along at all!

Best of all, sitting side by side with my boyfriend and each making our own ring felt totally different from just buying one!! Making each other's ring was really fun too haha.

One thing you absolutely have to do at a workshop like this is film a timelapse! Watching it back later, it became another little memory of its own.

The ring-making experience itself takes about 1 hour, and including the staff's professional finishing work afterward, plan for about 2 hours total when you visit!

After making the rings and grabbing a nice meal, we came back to find our gorgeous couple rings finished.

Since we'd chosen the design and made the rings ourselves, seeing the finished result was even more satisfying than I expected.
