As the name suggests, it's a spot where you can enjoy jazz and live performances, so the atmosphere is definitely different from a regular restaurant~ It's already famous among a lot of people, so I had high expectations going in hahaha.

What does the inside of Jazz 257 feel like?

Whiskey bottles lined up like this, and there's Leila sitting with a glass of wine haha.

The moment I walked in, I could really feel that 'jazz bar' atmosphere! Some of the staff were foreign, which made the space feel even more exotic 🎆 When I visited, the windows were open and a breeze was drifting in from Central Park — even though it was a hot day, it was way cooler than expected!! Add music on top of that and it kind of felt like sitting at an outdoor terrace bar while traveling?!

Every table had slightly different lighting, which made it fun to look around! The tables looked something like this. There were candles too, making the mood even more romantic,,❤️

Stone steak fire show with a glass of wine

What we ordered that day at Jazz 257 was the stone steak, bacon mushroom rose pasta, and a glass each of white and red wine. The waiter poured them with such style haha.

Glasses of white and red wine on the table

First up, the stone steak I was most excited about! When you order it, the steak arrives on a hot stone, and they do a fire show right at the table..🔥🥵 The moment the flame shoots up is pretty striking, so even the food arriving felt like its own little event.

Steak sitting on the heated stone

Totally Instagram-vibe photo material... it's possible,,🥺 Oh and also!! Personally what I liked about the stone steak is that the meat stays warm until you finish eating? Since the steak sits on a stone heated over fire, it stayed warm the whole time I was eating!! But the stone gets really hot, so if you leave the meat on too long it can slightly burn! (Wish I hadn't found that out the hard way...ㅎㅠ)

Steak cooking on the stone with garnish

The steak comes with whole grain mustard too, and the little pops of texture with the tangy flavor make it an award-worthy couple, honestly.

Even the plate and cutlery suit the jazz bar so well,,🎶 lolllll. As a former Outback Steakhouse part-timer, I gave my boyfriend a little tutorial — what do you all think of his form,,,? Feel free to be harsh with the review ^_^

For garnish it came with onion, bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, and zucchini — I thought it'd just be a side vegetable, but it was actually seasoned and tasted great!! I never eat bell peppers normally but somehow it was crazy delicious here. So good!!

One bite of steak with the garnish! The onion was super sweet and paired great with the steak. My boyfriend doesn't like cherry tomatoes so I ate all of his too (not complaining).

Live jazz at your table during dinner

Jazz 257 Songdo Central Park Branch runs various genres of live performances on weekdays and Sundays, and band performances on Fridays and Saturdays. It's worth checking what's playing on the day you plan to visit!!

Today's song recommendation! How about some jazz overflowing with mood?! Honestly I listen to jazz a lot when I drive, focus, or just want to relax, so as someone who loves it this much, I was so, so happy in that moment,,

Aww,,,, a performance so good you feel full without even eating,,, (well... I did eat a lot too...haha)

Hahaha, apparently a couple there was celebrating their wedding anniversary! Congratulations! This is the kind of place where you can book for a special occasion at Jazz 257 and end up with pretty memories like this🎉

How was the bacon mushroom rose pasta?

The bacon mushroom rose pasta we also ordered! With bacon and mushrooms in a smooth rose sauce, it went really well alongside the steak. The thick yet smooth sauce coated the noodles nicely, and the salty bacon flavor made it pair well with wine too.

The sauce was thicker than I expected? Kind of tasted like nacho cheese sauce, a little.

Right after the pasta arrived, another gorgeous jazz performance started. Being able to watch a live jazz set while eating is really the charm of this place haha.

A Central Park walk after dinner at Jazz 257

Songdo Central Park walking path after sunset

After finishing the meal and the jazz set, the sky had already gone dark. Every time I come to Songdo, the walking paths always seem so clean and well-kept haha. So we took a walk along the path to work off dinner🚶🏻🚶🏻‍♀️ If you're planning to visit Jazz 257, I'd recommend the route of dinner and wine at Jazz 257 followed by a walk through Central Park :)

Is Jazz 257 Songdo worth a visit?

Jazz 257 seemed like a great pick for a date or an anniversary, especially with the fire show for the stone steak! With a lake view of Central Park, live music, and wine, this feels like the kind of place that comes to mind on a day when you want a different kind of evening than usual. If you're looking for a nice-vibe wine bar or jazz bar in Songdo, come enjoy the food, the live music, and a post-dinner walk through Central Park at Jazz 257 Songdo Central Park Branch :)
