Parking and first impressions at Gwaireui Sup Yeosu

Gwaireui Sup Yeosu Branch has a wide private parking lot right in front of the store! 🚗 Perfect for stopping by while touring Dolsan by car.

They're open haha, the cute sign as soon as you walk in already put me in a good mood!

Gwaireui Sup Yeosu specializes in fruit bingsu! You can browse rows of fresh, delicious-looking fruit on display. It's also close to Yeosu's Yi Sun-sin Square, so it's a nice spot for a quick rest haha.

The menu board at Gwaireui Sup Yeosu Branch had cute cookies, castella, donuts, and even cakes! They also sell cup fruit, so it seems some people come here for group snacks in Yeosu too. Of course, our only goal that day was the melon bingsu!!! 💖

We ordered the Hybrix Melon Bingsu, good for 2-3 people. We're a couple who's absolutely obsessed with melon... haha melon is my favorite fruit of all!!!

And here's what I really loved about Gwaireui Sup Yeosu... when you visit, you get to meet this super affectionate, adorable dog ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I still want to scratch its belly ,.. 🥹🤍 The owner clearly takes great care of it — it smelled so fresh and its fur was so shiny!

As you can see in the video, the smart little dog raises its paw the moment I go to shake hands. Honestly this dog alone makes me want to go back to Yeosu ㅠㅠㅠ way too cute...

After ordering, we moved to the seating room next door!

Inside Gwaireui Sup Yeosu Branch, there was even a simple self-camera set up for taking photos, and the interior was so cool and comfortable, which I loved.. A couple more groups came in after us, and everyone seemed happy with the place!

How does the 28,000-won Hybrix melon bingsu taste?

Hybrix Melon Bingsu (₩28,000) 🍈 The first thing that caught my eye the moment it arrived was, of course, the visual of the melon — it was practically stacked into a tower, genuinely surprising (*cereal and melon syrup were also served alongside). One scoop of vanilla ice cream sat on top, and underneath was piled high with milk ice and lots of fresh melon!

Thanks to the melon's subtle aroma and sweet flavor, the bingsu itself tasted even better! Personally I prefer refreshing, fruit-heavy bingsu over the heavier kind loaded with red bean or rice cakes, so this melon bingsu was totally my thing haha. Especially in summer, this kind of fruit bingsu is just the best... 🍈🍧 The melon must have been really good quality too — genuinely super sweet with great texture. The shine muscat grapes added in for color were also sweet and delicious ㅠ ugh... I want to eat it again.

Partway through, the playful dog came over to visit our table! After a few pets, it trotted right back to the owner hahahaha.

Finally, we poured melon syrup and cereal all over the soft milk ice! Since the ice itself was made from milk, it was genuinely smooth — a completely different level from a typical bingsu shop. There were also plenty of cheese cubes mixed in, so it was fun picking out different toppings as we went hahaha.

The owner was also very friendly, which made the visit even better, and since you can enjoy delicious fruit bingsu alongside an adorable dog, I highly recommend this place!
