I visited on a weekday for lunch~! My steps got lighter and lighter just thinking about the buffet 🐾

Since it was weekday lunch, I got in with no wait! If you're waiting on a weekend, you can use the waitlist registration system :)

Even though I came on a weekday for lunch, there were quite a lot of people! Not as busy as a weekend, but more people were there for lunch than I expected.

Is QooQoo Chuncheon Branch good with kids? Inside the large playroom
Inside QooQoo Chuncheon Branch there's a large playroom facility. I had no idea QooQoo had such a big playroom inside~! 👀 It seems great for bringing kids along. There are baby chairs and tables where parents can eat while watching the kids play, so adults can eat comfortably while keeping an eye on them, and kids can have a blast playing and eating lots of good food too — perfect for the whole family to have a fun time! I'll have to bring the kids next time 😊

Sushi, sashimi and rolls to Korean, Chinese and Western dishes: a tour of the buffet
I was hungry so I did a quick lap around the place. There's such a wide variety — sushi, sashimi, rolls, salads, Korean food, Chinese food, Western food, fried items — that I spent a while deciding what to eat first haha. But when it comes to QooQoo, it's really all about the sushi 🍣

All kinds of rolls and raw fish sushi. They cover the sushi with plastic wrap so it doesn't dry out. I was impressed that they cared about even this small detail.
Sashimi cut to order and make-your-own mulhoe at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch
I mostly loaded up on raw fish sushi. I really love sushi, and there's such a variety that it never gets boring. On top of that, you can make your own mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) too. Total value for money 👍
Since it's a buffet at a chain restaurant, I figured the sashimi would just come pre-sliced, but they were actually cutting it fresh right there!? No wonder it felt so fresh! Watching them cut it right in front of me, I totally understood why the sushi quality has such a good reputation.
The fresh sashimi and rice ratio were just right too. The combo of aged kimchi and flounder sashimi speaks for itself. The shrimp was fresh too, no fishy taste at all. Pile the wasabi on to your taste (a lot, in my case) and that's exactly the flavor 👍 thumbs up
A meat and fried food plate for the grilled-food lover at the table
My companion's plate showed just how different our tastes are.. 🤣 He loves meat and fried food, so he only loaded up on his favorites.

There were a lot of salad options too, which I usually love, but I was too busy eating sushi to get to them lol

In-season shrimp at QooQoo, plastic gloves included
Maybe because shrimp is in season, it was really plump and delicious. The fried shrimp and crab meat fritters were crispy and tasty too, and the butter garlic shrimp and boiled shrimp thoughtfully came with plastic gloves, making them easy to peel quickly. I ate soooo much shrimp 😂

Desserts, marble ice cream and a tip for paying the bill
Even when you're full, there's always room for dessert! And this place even has marble ice cream 🫢
I neatly grabbed some dessert and had it with coffee.. it was the perfect meal ♥️ My first visit to QooQoo in a while, and I came away completely satisfied! Next time I'll have to bring the kids along 😊
Just a heads up, QooQoo is running a discount event when you pay with Toss Face Pay, so keep that in mind!
