Rustic Smoke House Yongin Yangji Branch is a barbecue and steak restaurant located on the 1st floor of 432-3 Hanteo-ro, Yangji-eup, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It's just 15 minutes by car from Everland, so it's easy to find as a place to eat near Everland.

Today I'm introducing Rustic Smoke House, a spot near Everland that's great for barbecue and steak.

Here's what the outside looks like. It's tucked pretty far in, so it was a bit tricky to find. But the parking lot is huge so don't worry about that — even on a weekend visit there were plenty of seats ➿

Inside Rustic Smoke House: seating and the self-service zone

The inside of Rustic Smoke House Yongin Yangji Branch has a lodge-like feel, and there are lots of group seats, so it seems great for family meals too. At the self-service zone you can grab water, tissues, small plates, and even cookies and snacks.

The menu and why the two-person couple set wins

The menu at Rustic Smoke House Yongin Yangji Branch ranges from sets to à la carte, with barbecue, pasta, quesadillas, risotto, and more. I was going to order à la carte, but the set was ₩10,000 cheaper so I got the 2-person couple set, choosing the BBQ platter and pesce pasta.

What comes on the BBQ platter?

Rustic Smoke House's BBQ platter comes with brisket, pulled pork, loin ribs, 4 dinner rolls, and coleslaw. They also give you fries, so this alone could fill you up.

I couldn't believe how generous the basic salad was,,, when you're eating nothing but meat it can get so heavy, and salad is exactly what you need ㅠ

The sauces that came with it were ketchup and a spicy sauce, two kinds. Refills were available.

How does the pesce pasta taste?

Worried it might be too heavy, I ordered the spicy pesce pasta and that was the right call 👍🏻 It was just spicy enough, and even someone who can't handle spice much could probably eat it. It's loaded with seafood — shrimp, zucchini, clams, mussels, and more. It had a faint jjin-jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) flavor while also feeling like a hangover-curing pasta. The meat was so tender the bone slipped right out.

Can you order Rustic Smoke House barbecue to go?

Rustic Smoke House Yongin Yangji Branch does let you pack up leftover barbecue. It was delicious, but since I eat small, I had some left over ㅠ It felt wasteful so I asked for it to be packed, and they even packed the sauce along with it. (Nice touch 👍🏻👍🏻)

Who should visit Rustic Smoke House Yongin Yangji Branch?

On my way out after paying, I noticed they also sell coffee. The atmosphere is nice, so it seems like a good place to come back to for coffee after lunch. Since it's only 15 minutes by car from Everland, it also seems great to visit with kids. It's a nice spot for couples wanting a bit of atmosphere too, so I'd recommend it when you want to dress the occasion up a little ➿ I've already decided to come back again 💟
