Nowon sushi buffet kids' room and 4-hour Saturday parking: Kuu Kuu

I went to Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch for dinner with the kids. Deciding on a restaurant as a family is surprisingly hard, but Kuu Kuu makes it easy since everyone can pick what they want — sushi, meat, Korean dishes, dessert — and with plenty of kid-friendly options plus a separate kids' room, it's a solid pick when you're hunting for a Nowon family-gathering restaurant. The Kuu Kuu sign is huge even from outside the building, so it's easy to find~.
The restaurant is on the 6th floor, and the entrance is right there when you step off the elevator.
How much does Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch cost?
There's a board by the entrance with prices, time limit and parking info all posted, so I snapped a photo before going in for next time~
Based on the price board posted when we visited: weekday lunch for adults/teens was ₩27,900, weekday dinner ₩31,900, weekend/holiday ₩35,900. For elementary schoolers it was ₩16,900 weekday lunch, ₩17,900 weekday dinner, ₩18,900 weekend/holiday. Preschoolers 36 months and up were ₩9,900. Weekday lunch requires exiting before 5pm, so keep that in mind. With 120 premium menu items listed, even one lap around left me wondering what to eat first.
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch has a 90-minute time limit, but the sign notes it can be relaxed if there's no waiting line, so we could eat without rushing~

Once inside, true to Kuu Kuu form, there was a huge variety of sushi and rolls. They stretched out in a long line, and just deciding what to pick took a while haha.
There was everything from salmon to shrimp to all kinds of rolls, and staff kept restocking in the back.
I know I shouldn't go overboard from the start, but at Kuu Kuu I always end up grabbing one of everything 🤣
I grabbed salmon, tuna, sushi and rolls — whatever I wanted. Looking at the photo again, I really did pile on one of every kind haha.
BBQ, salad and dessert: Kuu Kuu is not just a sushi buffet
What's great about Kuu Kuu is you don't have to eat sushi the whole time~
There was a separate BBQ corner too, with meats and warm dishes you can enjoy alongside the sushi.
The salad section had fruit, salads and side dishes ready to go, and switching between sushi and these kept things from getting monotonous.
And then, inevitably, dessert haha. There was a good amount of cake, fruit and bite-sized desserts,
plus ice cream in several flavors, so everyone could pick to their taste. Funny how you say you're full and then stand in front of the ice cream and start deliberating all over again 🤣
There's a separate drinks corner too, so you just grab whatever beverage you like.
Being able to pick from sushi, meat, salad, dessert and ice cream all in one place is really the fun of going to a buffet.
What age can use the kids' room at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch?
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch also has a separate kids' room, which is such a plus. Inside there's a slide and other play equipment for kids to enjoy, and the sign says entry is allowed up to age 7, so keep that in mind. When you eat out with kids, adults often still want to eat while the kids have already finished haha — so having a kids' room right in the restaurant is a genuinely nice feature when you're bringing children.
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch parking: 4 hours free on Saturdays only
I figured it'd be good to know about parking before visiting, so I photographed the sign in detail. Parking in the Seoul Oncheon building is free for up to 2 hours — 1 hour free by default, and up to 2 hours free with a Kuu Kuu visit; beyond that it's ₩4,000 per 30 minutes.
But on Saturdays there's another option. Every Saturday, using the Hagye Techno Town underground lot gets you up to 4 hours free. Beyond 4 hours it's ₩2,000 per 30 minutes, and the sign notes you can't exit the Hagye Techno Town lot after 9:30pm.

Actually, I parked at Hagye Techno Town that day — I didn't realize it was Saturday-only ㅜ.ㅜ Everyone else, please only use it on Saturdays. What a waste of parking money ~~ㅜ.ㅜ
Why Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch works for a meal out with kids
It had been a while since I'd been to Kuu Kuu, and it was fun to pick and choose as always. Not just sushi — some meat, then some salad, and finally dessert and ice cream~~ Going with kids works well since there's a lot of variety and a separate kids' room. Above all, I always tell myself I'll just take small portions of many things at a buffet, and I still end up with a mountain on my plate every time 🤣 That's the end of my full and happy review of Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch 🍣
