Suwon cake café Sunday parking guide: Darjeeling No. 7 at Diaz Cake

Hi everyone! It's Momo. I went to Diaz Cake Boutique, which is famous for its cakes in Suwon. It's near Suwon Nahyeoseok-geori, so it's great for a date — dinner, then a café, then a stroll along the street.

Diaz Cake Boutique hours and where to park on a Sunday

Diaz Cake Boutique doesn't have its own parking lot. I visited on a Sunday, and I was told the entrance behind the store wasn't under enforcement until 2:30 pm, so I parked there briefly and went in. I'd recommend using a nearby private or public parking lot instead.

Café Diaz on the 4th floor or Cake Boutique on the 2nd floor: which one?

There's a Café Diaz on the 4th floor, and Diaz Cake Boutique is separately on the 2nd floor. I went to the 2nd floor Diaz Cake Boutique.

The entrance has kind of an antique vibe. ✨ As soon as I stepped in it felt clean and upscale. It looked well cared for and very tidy.

What's in the cake showcase and how much whole cakes cost

When I visited there was peach cake, fig cake, blueberry cake, and whole cakes.

Whole cakes were around ₩49,000–₩59,000. I really wanted peach, so I went with the 🍑 peach cake 🍑.

A lot of people were also ordering the fruit-piled summer cake, which looked so refreshing and vivid. ✨ For drinks there was black tea, rooibos, oolong and more, so I could have a really relaxed tea time.

I also ordered Fortnum & Mason's Darjeeling tea, which has notes of black tea, fruit, and floral herbs.

Financiers and baked-cookie gift boxes, plus the seating at Diaz Cake Boutique

They also have house-baked financiers and cookies as gift-style desserts, so it'd be worth visiting if you're looking for a dessert gift. Inside there were also seats along the wall.

The sunlight coming through the windows was truly ✨ amazing. Lots of friends chatting and couples on dates were there.

Further inside there were plenty of seats along the big picture windows. The atmosphere really made you want to slow down and enjoy a cup of tea!

They also had cute Disney teapots and teacups, which were fun to look at while waiting.

How does the peach cake taste? Dairy fresh cream is the answer

The cake finally arrived 🫧 — pretty and delicious-looking, right? Diaz Cake apparently uses 100% dairy Seoul Milk fresh cream. Maybe that's why the cream didn't taste artificial at all — it was really delicious. Turns out it's a cake spot for a reason.

The peach wasn't too soft — it had a pleasant, sweet firmness to it. I think they probably avoid using overly mushy peaches for cakes. There was a generous amount of peach on top too, and it was sweet, delicious, and fresh.

Fortnum & Mason Darjeeling No. 7 tea and the vanilla latte

The Darjeeling tea had a light black tea aroma with herbal notes. It was clean and easy to drink when coffee or a heavier drink feels like too much after a meal. The vanilla latte smelled great too, with a subtle sweetness — perfect for a sugar boost. The tea was delicious, but the coffee was surprisingly good too, so I ended up stealing sips from my partner's cup.

There were plates and a flower vase on the table, perfect for a nice photo. >< The sunlight was so bright and lovely that I sat there for a long while just relaxing and unwinding.

Final verdict on Diaz Cake Boutique in Suwon

Diaz Cake Boutique had fresh fruit and a wide variety of cakes. The cakes were delicious, of course, but the café atmosphere was pretty and the coffee was good too — if you're looking for a great dessert spot in Suwon, I recommend it.
