Apgujeong Rodeo dinner for friends: pork steak, rose pasta, Eulji
In short
Eulji Darak Apgujeong Dosan Park is a Western dining restaurant on the 2nd floor of Apgujeong Rodeo Street in Gangnam, Seoul. A catch-up dinner with an old friend meant the signature pork neck steak, Darak rose pasta, and a butter highball, with no wait on a weekday evening thanks to the curtained sofa seats and feather lighting. Both the tender pork steak and the creamy rose pasta were satisfying enough to want to come back for the next get-together.

Time with a friend is always exciting, isn't it! I went to Eulji Darak, a great spot in Apgujeong for a catch-up meal~ I picked it for the vibe, and it turned out to be a great choice haha.

Walking along Apgujeong Rodeo Street with my friend, we were debating what to eat when we found this place. It had been a while since we'd seen each other, so I was even more excited.

The interior behind the magic door on the 2nd floor

Head up to the 2nd floor and a magic door appears! There was a parking guide sign out front, so it was easy to find. No wait to get in, which put me in an even better mood~ I pushed the door handle a little and the whole interior came into view. Since it was a weekday evening, the place was already buzzing with people.

The clean, pleasant interior stood out right away. The marble tables and curtained sofa seats felt so cozy! The feather lighting softly lit up the space and made it feel even more perfect for a get-together. Sunlight streamed gently into the seats by the window, brightening up the whole place. The plants scattered around added a relaxed feel too.

Ring the brass bell on the table and a staff member brings over the menu! Stepping through that magic door felt like entering a little healing space...haha. As soon as the bell rang out clearly, a staff member came over kindly. Flipping through the menu and figuring out what suited our taste was genuinely fun.
Butter highball, with a subtle buttery aroma

We ordered the butter highball with cider! Served in an ice-filled glass, the butter highball's standout feature was its rich buttery flavor. Topped with dried fruit garnish, one cool sip felt like it melted away the tiredness! Behind the sharp fizz typical of a highball, there was a subtle buttery aroma that gave it a really unique charm.

When our order landed on the marble table, it made for a really generous spread! Let me review the pork neck steak and rose pasta one by one haha. As soon as the plates hit the table, the delicious smell hit our noses. My friend and I spent a busy few minutes just taking photos of each other. The tableware was set so neatly it felt like we were being properly looked after.

Signature pork neck steak
The signature pork neck steak stood out from the plating alone! Grilled vegetables like roasted tomato and broccoli filled the plate. The dusting of cheese powder made it look absolutely delicious!

The meat was tender and the variety of grilled vegetables made it delicious! I loved the feeling of the juices spreading in my mouth. If I come back, the pork neck steak is definitely the dish I'd order again! Every cut with the knife carried that soft texture straight through the blade. My friend gave it a thumbs up too, saying the meat was excellent.

Darak rose pasta
The Darak rose pasta came on a floral plate that caught my eye right away! Fresh cream sat on top of the parsley-dusted sauce, making the presentation look gorgeous.

Mixing the generous dollop of fresh cream into the rose sauce doubles the creamy texture! The way the pasta and sauce came together looked really impressive. It was fascinating watching the cream melt in, lightening the sauce's color and making it even creamier. The sauce soaked deep into the noodles, so every bite delivered a rich flavor.
Thoughtful touches like power bank rental and pickle refills

I also loved the thoughtful service here. There was power bank rental and a pickle sign set up near the marble counter! Finishing the meal with those little conveniences in mind left me in a great mood. The staff checked the tables regularly and refilled pickles whenever we ran low, which was impressive. With everything we needed placed around the space, we didn't feel any inconvenience the whole time.

There was also a review event offering a free drink! Check the sign with the QR code and give it a try. If you're trying to decide on a place for a get-together, I'd recommend this one! I had such a fun time...haha. It's the kind of place I'd want to visit again for the next get-together. The memories made over good food with a friend feel like they'll stick around for a long time.
