Chodaechang Baekseok Branch is super clean inside and the drink selection is really varied, so if you love drinking you should run here right now!! ๑•̀ᗝ•́૭ We went right at opening and there were already several tables full of people eating — this really is a proven spot~!!

When you walk in, the table is set with this pretty cloth. These little details just put you in a good mood.. ˖⁺♡˚₊

The menu board looks exactly like the photo, and we ordered as follows:

• Special Beef Abomasum Grill: ₩21,000
• Hangover Udon: ₩7,000

If you look at the menu, you'll see the drink options range from highball to gaoliang liquor to wine — really varied!

Side dishes: aged kimchi and potato salad

The table setting came out so neat, and every single side dish was delicious — my parents loved it! Especially that aged kimchi and potato salad? Genuinely so good ´•̥̥̥ ᵕ •̥̥̥`

Seasoned beef tripe: savoury and salty rather than spicy

Finally, today's highlight came out..!! Can you see that sauce color?? ･ ͜ʖ ･ It's plated so neatly in a pretty bowl that I couldn't not take a photo,,

This sauce is seriously a magic touch — it's a bit salty, so it goes perfectly as a drinking snack ,,•̀ .̫ •́ It'd also go great with rice, that classic sauce flavor every Korean loves!! (+it's red but not spicy at all!! Even people who can't handle spice can eat this just fine)

Tableside grilling: staff cook the tripe and abomasum for you

Another great thing.. a staff member comes over and grills everything for you, piece by piece. ,,ू˃̣̣̣̣̣̣︿˂̣̣̣̣̣̣ू Beef tripe and abomasum taste best when grilled properly, and having staff grill it all is amazing whether you're eating with your parents or at a work dinner. All you have to do is sit there and open your mouth like a baby bird ⋆ ꙳

Can you see the plump beef tripe turning golden brown over the charcoal? ,,, I just want to eat it right now ,,,,

The beef intestines cooking up so nicely ꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡ Even though we visited on a Monday, by dinnertime there wasn't a single seat left..? Looked like a lot of nearby office workers come here for work dinners!

Special abomasum grill, best dipped in the sauce

When you take this golden-grilled abomasum and dip it right into the sauce!( •̯́ .̮.̮ •̯̀) ♥ You immediately want to pour a shot of soju... It'd basically be illegal not to drink here ʕʘ̅͜ʘ̅ʔ

Ending the meal with hangover udon, 7,000 won

When you feel like you need some carbs~ ordering the spicy, hot hangover udon (haejang udon)? Honestly the perfect final course. The noodles are chewy and the broth is refreshing, so it felt like it sobered up all the drinks we'd had. It was a satisfying meal out with family after a long while (•ө•)♡
