Ever since visiting the Ciment Hannam University main branch a while back and falling for the taste and value, I'd kept the name "Ciment" tucked away in my memory! Then, on a weekend lunch, I happened to be walking through Gung-dong with my partner when there it was — Ciment Chungnam National University Branch, right in front of us?! The moment we saw it, we both said without hesitation, "Today's lunch is definitely pizza and pasta!" and headed straight in... Since we'd already verified the taste and charm at the Hannam branch, this trusted Ciment had us excited to see what delicious menu we'd get to try this time!

An interior with a campus-town vibe
Ciment Chungnam National University Branch really had that lively yet comfortable atmosphere unique to a university neighborhood. Inside, tables ranged from seats for two up to seats for four, making it easy to drop in for a meal without much fuss. It's great for a date with friends or a partner, and since it was the weekend, I also saw quite a few tables of families out with their kids.

Toward the back of the hall, there's a clean, unisex restroom.

Tablet ordering and menu lineup
Every table had a neat tablet ordering system, so we could take our time browsing menu photos and prices at our own pace. From pasta to pizza, risotto, pilaf, crispy pork cutlet, side fries, and fresh ades and other drinks — the range of choices was really wide.

Water, pickles, and sauces are set out at a self-serve corner, so you grab them yourself.
Half-and-half pizza (bulgogi salad + chipotle shrimp), ₩14,000

Can't decide which pizza to get? At Ciment, the half-and-half pizza is the answer! Since every pizza can be split half and half, we picked the winning combo without a second thought: bulgogi salad pizza + chipotle shrimp pizza! A crispy, thin crust piled generously with savory cheese — being able to enjoy two flavors at once is such a win, right?!
Salchi garlic oil pasta, ₩14,500

Isn't the salchi (chuck flap) garlic oil pasta seriously impressive just from the visuals?!

Soft chuck flap steak, grilled to a nice golden brown, was gently laid over the pasta, stealing attention the moment it arrived at the table!
The savory oil sauce, fragrant with garlic, had soaked all the way into the noodles, so I scraped up every last bite without a hint of it feeling heavy... Piling a piece of meat on top and slurping it down with the noodles together was pure happiness!

A mini salad is offered when you take part in the Naver & Kakao receipt review event.
