Buggies is the burger place I automatically think of whenever I crave a handmade burger. I've been here more than 10 times — it's just that good a spot for me :)

A hip interior like an American burger joint

Buggies Tangbang has an overall exotic vibe, like an actual American burger place. Maybe because the music is turned up loud too, but it feels totally hip and I love it!!!!!!!!

Buggies Tangbang has tables good for 2 to 4 people, plus bar seats where you can eat solo without any pressure. There's also terrace seating where you can enjoy your burger outside, so you get a bit of a different experience depending on where you sit!

Take a look at the overall vibe of the place :) With a mirror set up in front, it makes the space feel bigger overall, and it seemed like a lot of solo diners, groups, and even lunch work gatherings use the place!

Hand-washing sink and wet wipes in the restaurant

There's a dedicated hand-washing sink on one side of the restaurant so you can wash up before and after eating and enjoy your burger cleanly :) They also give out wet wipes separately for extra cleanliness — such a nice touch ~~~~ 💛

Once you find a seat at Buggies, you can comfortably order by browsing menu photos on the table-order kiosk installed at each table! Once your order's placed, staff bring it out, and after eating you don't need to return anything to the counter — just leave it on the table and go.

One perk of Buggies handmade burgers is that every menu item can be customized! You can set up the base combo however you like, so you can basically build your own burger.

What does the Hangover burger taste like?

If you ask me confidently which burger is the best at Buggies, I'd recommend my favorite, the Hangover haha. The classic cheeseburger is clean and savory too, but I ordered the Hangover with a side of garlic butter fries 💗

Handmade burgers are really big, right? A thick beef patty topped with tomato, a soft-boiled fried egg, and a savory sauce — and best of all, there's a hash brown in there that makes it even better :) It's a bit richer in flavor than other burgers, so people who like bold flavors will probably love it without any complaints!

To think a bun can hold this much and this variety.. 🔥 I loved the sauce inside!! But along with all those ingredients, the burger is genuinely huge 🤭 It's a once-in-a-lifetime burger, so if you visit Buggies in Tanbang-dong, be sure to try the Hangover.. 🐷

Garlic butter fries and a cola on the side

And the garlic butter fries.. 💗 They really give you a generous portion, and they came out freshly fried, so they were warm and crispy!! They also drizzle on a ton of garlic butter sauce, which I really loved.. 💚 A burger paired with garlic butter fries is such a perfect match, so make sure to order them together :)

A handmade burger plus fries combo just can't be complete without cola, right? I finished off the cola properly too. They give you ice cups matched to your headcount, so ordering one cola for two people to share is just right!!

If you're in Tanbang-dong looking for a good vibe and delicious handmade burgers, I'd recommend Buggies Tangbang :) It's my true go-to spot that I've visited N times now… 🫶🏻 A place I want to go back to again and again!!
