Room 402 ocean view with sunrise at Anmok Beach, Gangneung: Your Anmok

Your Anmok is an ocean-view pension right at Anmok Beach and the start of Anmok Cafe Street in Gangneung. Staying one night in Room 402, the writer spent the whole trip inside and around the stay — sea-gazing from bed, a free spa, Chodang corn coffee, dakgangjeong (Korean fried chicken) for a late-night snack, and sunrise the next morning. It's a stay built for doing absolutely nothing, walkable to cafes and gift shops without a car, though soundproofing was thin and rooms cap out at 2 guests.

Seo Jubang is a Korean-style drinking restaurant near the Yeongnang-dong food stall street and Yeongnang Beach in Sokcho.
