Milyang Dol Jjamppong is a stone-plate jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) restaurant on Baekmin-ro in Milyang, Gyeongnam, heated on 250-degree amphibolite stone plates. Visiting near Yeongnamnu while traveling in Milyang, the writer ordered the nurungji stone-plate jjamppong for 3 (₩37,000), which changed through three stages: chicken-broth soup jjamppong, a stir-fried version with bean sprouts, and finally a yakiudon-like noodle dish. When craving something hot and different from regular jjamppong, Milyang Dol Jjamppong is worth considering.
