Late-night Korean BBQ with grilled pork jowl add-on: Jipbul Taebaek
Jipbul Taebaek Suwon Ingye Branch is a straw-fire Korean BBQ restaurant on Nahyeoseok-gil in Ingye-dong, Suwon, Gyeonggi. On a late evening visit, marinated prime beef ribs (300g, ₩32,000) and beef cheonggukjang stew (₩7,000) weren't quite enough, so straw-fired whole pork jowl (180g, ₩21,000) was added and eaten as tteok wraps. Staff grill the meat, pick the rib bones clean, and offer mushroom pesto for switching up the flavor — a solid pick for a late drink or group gathering in Ingye-dong.
