Today I'm introducing a great Euljiro restaurant recommendation — Pyu, a spot with a nice vibe for a blind date or date ก'•͡ᴥ•ʔ ก้้้้้้้

Euljiro has so many hip restaurants and bars that it's honestly hard to pick where to go, but Pyu Euljiro has a clean atmosphere that isn't too formal, so I thought it'd be great for a date or blind date too!! Let's get into the photo review!

Pyu Euljiro location and parking

Exterior of Pyu Euljiro on the 1st floor of the Tower107 building

It's located in the Tower107 building right on a main road, so it's easy to find. It's close to Euljiro Exit 9, and parking is free for one hour :)

Once you enter the first-floor building, it's set back toward the inside!

A 70-pyeong lounge — the interior vibe

Interior of the roughly 70-pyeong Pyu Euljiro lounge

Pyu Euljiro is a spacious lounge of about 70 pyeong, and thanks to the open feel and comfortable seating, it was really great for a relaxed meal!

Since the space is so wide, it never feels cramped, and every table has an atmosphere that makes it easy to chat comfortably. It seemed great for catching up with friends you haven't seen in a while, and also good for a slightly more special gathering, like a wedding-invitation get-together.

I'd made a reservation, and when I got there my name was placed right on the table — that made me weirdly happy haha

What we ordered

Table spread with mackerel pasta and crispy eggplant
  • Mackerel pasta
  • Crispy eggplant
  • Fresh salad
  • Iced americano
  • Samcheongdong-myeoneuri beer

Iced americano & beer

Iced americano and a glass of craft beer

For dinner, a drink order is basically a must, but we came for lunch lol. The beer, whose name alone makes you curious — 'Cheongdam-dong Myeoneuri' (Cheongdam-dong Daughter-in-law) — apparently won 28 awards at international beer competitions! If you're looking for a clean-style beer that pairs well with food, I'd recommend it!

Fresh salad

A salad topped with fresh leafy greens and seasonal fruit — refreshing and great for stimulating the appetite! Especially since fresh ingredients in various colors were all packed into one bowl, it was a dish that lifted my mood just by looking at it!

Mackerel pasta

An oil pasta with marinated mackerel, topped with a generous heap of arugula, which I love — totally made me go hoho!!

A plate of pasta showing thick pieces of mackerel

The mackerel had soft, clean flesh, so eating it with the pasta wasn't heavy at all — just a subtle savoriness. The mackerel was really thick, had zero fishy smell, and I enjoyed it so much :) It has a different charm from the cream or tomato pastas I'm used to, so it'd suit people looking for something a bit different.

Crispy eggplant

Eggplant fried crispy on the outside, dipped in a savory fish cream sauce. Seriously, I'd push this dish super hard lol. Can eggplant really be this delicious? I enjoyed it that much haha

Wrap-up
