Parking and group seating at Shabu20 Daegu Bokhyeon branch
One of the best things about Shabu20 Daegu Bokhyeon branch is that it has its own dedicated parking lot!! It fits about 30 cars, and there's parking for roughly 100 more just under Gonghanggyo Bridge, a 2-minute walk away.
Shabu20 Daegu Bokhyeon branch can seat up to about 190 people, which makes it great for group gatherings or family meals. I've been to a bunch of Shabu20 branches already, so when I heard a new one opened in Bokhyeon-dong, of course I had to check it out. Living up to its reputation as a go-to spot near Daegu Airport, it serves fresh beef, pork and vegetables you can eat as much as you want — top marks all around.

How much is lunch and dinner at Shabu20 Daegu Bokhyeon branch?
Lunch and dinner prices are different, so keep that in mind. Weekday lunch is ₩22,900, dinner is ₩26,900. Weekend and holiday prices are the same as dinner. Naver Reservations is also available, so if you don't want to wait, I'd recommend booking ahead.

One nice thing about Shabu20 is that you can take out ice cream or coffee after your meal, so you don't need a second stop at a café, right?? Beef, pork, Vietnamese spring rolls, vegetables, drinks, dessert, even draft beer — all unlimited~

Ordering one katsuobushi broth for the table
You can split the broth half-and-half, choosing from five total: katsuobushi, spicy, soybean, sukiyaki, and hot pot. We love katsuobushi broth, so we ordered it as a single option.

What's on the Shabu20 salad bar?
Besides the shabu-shabu itself, there's a wide variety of items at the salad bar, so you won't get bored while waiting.

On top of tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), dakgangjeong (crispy fried chicken), fried rice, takoyaki, pad thai and cream pasta, there's also cold naengmomil (buckwheat noodles) — just fill your plate however you like.

Broth refills and the self-serve sauce bar
Sometimes your broth runs low while you're eating shabu-shabu, right?? Just refill it at the self-serve bar~ And of course the sauces matter too, so pick your favorites and scoop them up~ I like peanut sauce and chili sauce the best haha.

Unlimited beef and pork at Shabu20
Some other shabu-shabu places charge extra for more meat, but isn't unlimited meat one of Shabu20's biggest perks?? Beef, pork, all you can eat~ Don't leave 3 trays' worth behind at the meat counter!! Nobody judges you for going back multiple times, so eat until you're full~

There's draft beer too, but I had to drive, so I passed~ A cold draft beer at the end of a long day is also a great choice!! It's such a nice world we live in where beer comes out at the push of a button.

Piling shabu-shabu meat into Vietnamese-style rolls
My husband and I both love fresh Vietnamese-style spring rolls, so we filled a plate with a variety of vegetables — topping them with shabu-shabu meat and dipping into sauce is so good~ Why pay tens of thousands of won for spring rolls elsewhere?? My preference is lots of perilla leaves, a little cabbage and carrot, plenty of cucumber, and 2 pieces of pineapple ^^

Soda, coffee, and ice cream, all covered!! Any place with zero-sugar cola on the menu gets 100 points from me right away~

Finishing with kalguksu noodles and egg porridge
Even though I'm not usually big on eating just vegetables, I really enjoy the ones cooked into the shabu-shabu~ Little kids seemed to enjoy them too. Once you've finished the shabu-shabu, you can make kalguksu (knife-cut noodles) or porridge with the leftover broth. I had a bit of kalguksu, then cracked in an egg to make porridge, and I'm already craving it again~ I'll be back soon!!

Shabu20 checks every box on both taste and value. If you want a healthy meal built around premium-grade shabu-shabu beef and the natural flavor of good ingredients, I recommend giving it a try!!
