In short

Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang is a foot bath and shoulder massage café on the 2nd floor of Eunhaeng-ro in Jeonju Hanok Village. After walking the stone-wall alleys for over two hours, the Basic Healing Course (₩15,000) delivered a 30-minute rose aroma foot bath, a heated neck and shoulder massage, and a free traditional tea. How much do you all walk when you visit Jeonju? I love wandering the stone-wall alleys and cute little lanes of Hanok Village, so I happily wandered around for a while! But after an hour or two of brisk walking, my legs started feeling heavy and my shoulders got stiff.

Strolling the stone-wall alleys of Jeonju Hanok Village

Since my legs needed a break and I wanted to relax somewhere pretty, I went looking around and found a spot that was on a totally different level from a regular café!

It's a place where you can look out over the whole village while enjoying a warm foot bath and a cooling shoulder massage, all in one go. This is Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang, already known as a must-visit spot in Jeonju Hanok Village.

Getting there and the Sixth Sense filming spot

Cute little footprint-shaped signs greeted me along the way, so I found the place easily without getting lost. Near the entrance, TV screenshots and photos from tvN's 'Sixth Sense' city tour episode immediately caught my eye.

Seeing how genuinely relaxed the cast looked, my excitement was already through the roof before I even walked in!

Lockers and a changing area — handy for travelers with lots of bags

As soon as I walked in, the owner and staff greeted me so warmly and kindly that I felt good from the moment I stepped inside. On one side, there were plenty of large personal lockers with keys! I'd been carrying a ton of luggage around while traveling, so being able to safely tuck away my bag and jacket and enjoy the place hands-free was such a relief.

There was even a thoughtfully arranged changing area inside where you could switch clothes or tidy up comfortably — it was such a nice touch.

You pick your own aroma bath salts

Once you choose your course, they bring out a basket so you can pick the aroma bath salts that will go into your foot bath water. You open the lids, sniff the scents, and pick whichever suits your mood. We both went with rose, haha. They scoop in about one spoonful.

Floor-to-ceiling hanok view seats, with blankets and fans

Being led to our seats, I couldn't help but gasp. The cozy recliners lined up facing the floor-to-ceiling windows made the whole atmosphere so inviting. Each seat came with its own foot bath machine, plus a warm knee blanket and a mini desk fan — such thoughtful touches. Outside the window, a panorama of quiet hanok rooftops and people strolling by unfolded like a painting, and just staring out at it was pure healing in itself!

A small fun detail: each window seat had a cute nameplate like 'Song Eun-i Zone' or 'Yoo Jae-suk Zone.' Once you sit down, they place a heated neck and shoulder massager right on top of your shoulders.

The free drinks included in the course

On top of everything, the free drinks included in the course were seriously solid! From healthy, fragrant traditional teas like mosi-leaf tea, persimmon-leaf mint tea, and burdock tea, to a cool sweet Americano and peach-lemon iced tea — there was something for every taste. Sipping tea while soaking your feet warmly, doesn't that combo just melt away fatigue at the thought alone?

The trapezius massage and bubbling foot bath, in real life

The massager kneaded my tense trapezius muscles — tight from computer use, phone scrolling, and walking — with a heavy, satisfying pressure that made me let out an involuntary 'ahh~' as my whole body seemed to melt.

Dipping my feet into the warm water with bubbles rising up, the soreness from a full day of walking just melted away like snow.

A cooling shoulder massage, a warm foot bath, and a gorgeous rooftop view right in front of me — it was basically paradise on earth.

Who should visit

Instead of rushing through a coffee and getting up, this was a genuinely meaningful way to take in the mood of Jeonju while shaking off all the fatigue of traveling, haha.
