Foot bath café with peppermint soak and hand massager: Jeonju Hanok
In short
Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang is a foot bath and massage café on the 2nd floor of a hanok building on Eunhaeng-ro in Jeonju Hanok Village. After a long walk with friends, the writer tried the basic course — a 30-minute peppermint foot bath, shoulder massage, and a free drink — starting with a hand acupressure tool and finishing with foot cream. Big windows overlooking the hanok village and sunset make it a great mid-tour rest stop.

What makes this place special
- A foot bath where you pick your own aroma bath salt
- A course that combines shoulder massage with a drink
- A café with a view — big windows looking out over the hanok village and sunset
My legs got seriously heavy from walking around Jeonju Hanok Village with my friends, haha ㅠㅠ. I figured we needed to rest at a café, and while looking for cafés in Jeonju Hanok Village I found Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang haha. You could get a foot bath and a massage, plus a drink was included, so it seemed like a solid pick! And I heard the view was good too, so my friends and I decided to just go without overthinking it 😃
An entrance that raised expectations before we even sat down

Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang is on the 2nd floor of a hanok building. The building itself fit so well with Jeonju Hanok Village that the atmosphere was great from the entrance haha. The foot-shaped sign was easy to spot, so it wasn't hard to find at all.

Since the name literally means "view," I was already excited about how good the scenery would be before we even went up! Among cafés in Jeonju Hanok Village, a place that combines a foot bath like this felt pretty unique 😃
An interior that was more spacious and clean than expected

Going up to the 2nd floor and walking in, I was surprised at how spacious it was, way bigger than I expected haha. Foot bath seats lined the window side, and the spacing between chairs wasn't cramped at all. There were more people there than I thought.
It seemed like a lot of people, like us, came in to rest after their legs got sore from wandering the hanok village haha. Since it's a massage-and-foot-bath café, it felt more like a place to properly rest than just a regular café where you sit around. The whole place was clean too, so it was comfortable from the moment we walked in 😃
Easy prep before the service starts

When you come in, you first take off your shoes and socks and change into slippers. There was a separate shoe cabinet too, so it was easy to keep things organized haha. If your clothes are uncomfortable, you could also change into something more comfortable in the changing room.

Since we were traveling, we had a surprising amount of bags and stuff, so having lockers was great! You could just put your bags in a locker and enjoy the foot bath light-handed, which was pretty convenient too 😃
A basic course with foot bath, massage, and a drink

Looking at the menu, the first thing that caught my eye was the basic course. It included a 30-minute aroma foot bath plus a shoulder massage, and a drink was served alongside it. I liked that coming to a massage-foot-bath café didn't just mean a foot bath — you got the massage too, so the package felt solid haha.

You get a ₩1,000 discount if you pay in cash, so that's worth keeping in mind! They also had socks for sale on one side, which seemed handy for anyone who wants to change into a clean pair after the foot bath 😃
A healing session that started with a hand massager and peppermint bath salt

Once we sat down, they first brought over a hand acupressure massager. Rolling it around and pressing it before the foot bath even started felt surprisingly good haha. You could also pick your own bath salt, and I went with peppermint!

They said peppermint clears your head and is good for leg swelling, so it seemed perfect for a day full of walking. I didn't expect to be picking my own foot bath salt while looking for cafés in Jeonju Hanok Village, but it was surprisingly fun haha.
A 30-minute foot bath that felt refreshing all the way to the soles
We properly dipped our feet in and started the 30-minute foot bath. The water was warm, and the tension melted away the moment I put my feet in haha. In particular, a machine kept moving and stimulating the soles of my feet, which felt pretty refreshing!

Feeling my sore, stiff legs slowly loosen up, I got why people come to Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang haha. On top of that, getting a shoulder massage at the same time meant it wasn't just my lower body resting — my upper body loosened up too, which was great.

After the foot bath, they dry your feet with a towel, and finally you apply foot cream. The course was thoughtfully put together from start to finish, so my satisfaction ended up higher than expected 😃
A free drink to enjoy alongside the foot bath

What I liked about Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang was that it wasn't just a foot bath — you also get to enjoy a drink. I got a cup of coffee and drank it while soaking my feet, and honestly, that combo was better than expected haha.

With my feet loosening up in the warm water and a cool cup of coffee in hand, it felt like a real break in the middle of a busy trip. If you're looking for cafés in Jeonju Hanok Village and want something a little more special than just sipping a drink, this kind of course is worth considering 😃
A view with sunset beyond the big window
True to its name, the view here really stuck with me haha. The hanok village scenery stretched out in front of the big window, and looking at it while soaking my feet felt more relaxing than usual.

After a while, the sun slowly started to set. Sipping coffee, watching the sunset, feet soaking in warm water — I completely lost track of time haha. After walking around with my friends for so long, my body was really worn out, but sitting there, the fatigue slowly melted away.

Among cafés in Jeonju Hanok Village, if resting is literally the point of your visit, Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang seems like a great fit. Whenever my legs get tired from walking around the hanok village and I need a break, I think I'll be thinking of this place again 😃
Overall review

Soaking in warm water and getting a shoulder massage at the same time made my whole body feel so much lighter. On top of that, a drink came included, and the big windows let me take in the hanok village view and sunset — it was great 😃

I think I'll remember this place whenever I want something a little more special than a quick coffee break at a café in Jeonju Hanok Village. If your Jeonju Hanok Village schedule involves a lot of walking, why not stop by Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang for a mid-tour rest? haha
