These days so many people are heading to Seongsu-dong or Seoul Forest for a stroll or a date, right? I met a friend near Ttukseom Station a while back, and with the heat and a serious craving for something sweet, we ended up at the currently-hot Mellows.
I went in expecting rich soft serve made with Sangha Farm organic milk and good coffee — and honestly, it was so, so satisfying that I have to tell you all about it!
Where is Mellows? A red-brick café between Ttukseom and Seoul Forest stations
Mellows sits on Wangsimni-ro 10-gil in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, in the alley between Ttukseom Station and Seoul Forest Station, so it's super walkable! It's a dessert café specializing in soft serve made with Sangha Farm milk.
The exterior is a warm, vintage-feeling red brick building that catches your eye from a distance. There's a well-set-up outdoor terrace out front too, making it a perfect Seoul Forest–vibe café for sitting outside and enjoying ice cream and coffee whenever there's a cool breeze!
The interior is decorated in cozy, comfortable wood tones, making it a great stop before or after a walk in Seoul Forest, or as part of a Seongsu-dong date course. The owner was so kind too!!

Taking a big spoonful of ice cream together with the peach sent freshness and nuttiness spreading through my mouth at the same time — it genuinely put me in a good mood 😋 The crunchy cereal/topping texture added even more fun to eat!
