Frizzy perm ends trimmed at a Sindang Station hair salon: Oreudeubi
In short
Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch is a hair salon in Seongdong, Seoul, an 8-minute walk from Sindang Station exit 2, at Centras Sangga Building i, Unit 118. Arriving with hair left frizzy by a severe natural curl, a perm and summer humidity, designer Youngjun advised keeping the curl and cutting only the damaged ends to bring back weight, with a first-visit discount of 30% and a scalp massage in the shampoo room. The split ends were gone while the perm curl stayed intact, and the next visit to Oreudeubi is planned for magic straightening.

It's really starting to feel like fall these days haha.

To welcome autumn, I got my hair tidied up at 'Oreudeubi' in Sindang, and I loved how careful designer Youngjun's hands were with my hair, so I'm writing up a review.
Where is Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch, and what are its hours?
Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch is a hair salon in the Sangwangsimni Centras mall, about an 8-minute walk from Sindang Station exit 2. It's open daily from 10:30 to 20:00, though hours vary by designer.

There's a signboard at the mall entrance, and you just head down the stairs to get in.

Oreudeubi Hair is Unit 118 — once you're inside, just head right from the info sign you see, and it's right there.

Oreudeubi has a really clean-looking storefront. I went on a weekend morning and there were quite a lot of customers already.

Writing down hair concerns on the salon checklist
After changing into a gown at Oreudeubi, they gave me a checklist and some snacks. The checklist was really thoughtfully put together — hairstyles I was interested in, the image I wanted, hair concerns, points to pay extra attention to, and so on.

I'd gotten a perm about a month before this, and my severe natural curl plus the perm plus summer humidity was just too much to handle, ugh. My hair was so frizzy and messy. And of course my ends were completely damaged on top of that, haha. I'd also been getting regular magic straightening, so the ends were extra damaged. So I was mulling over what to do, and decided to come get a clean cut. I poured all of this into the checklist...

The cut: keeping the perm curl, trimming only the damaged ends
Designer Youngjun took care of my hair! Before starting the cut, he carefully went over the checklist with me and consulted on what to do. I'd originally planned to cut off all the curl, but he said it would be a waste to cut it all off since the perm was still fresh, and suggested we keep the shape by trimming only the damaged parts. He also said that hair needs some weight to keep from puffing up, so cutting it all off would actually make it puff up more — so we decided to trim only the damaged sections.

He cut with such careful hands and gave me tips on how to take care of my hair afterward. He was so thorough that I've decided I'm coming back to get a magic straightening treatment from designer Youngjun at Oreudeubi next...

Shampoo room with a massage chair and a scalp massage
There's a massage chair on one side of Oreudeubi's shampoo area, haha. Seems like you can get a massage there while your hair neutralizes after a magic straightening treatment or something — nice touch. I just had a plain shampoo so I sat in the chair next to it, but oh my, designer Youngjun's scalp massage is seriously so refreshing, haha lol. Being a guy, his hand pressure is just different.

The result at Oreudeubi: frizz tidied, perm curl still there
And that's how my hair was finished. Even while trimming off the damaged ends, the perm curl was kept intact. Ugh... once all those split, white-tipped damaged ends were cut off, it was such a relief. Completely satisfied!!!!

If you're trying to decide on a Sindang hair salon, give Oreudeubi a try! Great with hair, friendly, and clean. First-time visitors get 30% off, so keep that in mind. The prices for their services aren't bad either.

I highly recommend designer Youngjun at Oreudeubi... He's a guy but he's really good with women's hair too, so I was satisfied the whole time. I'm planning to go back for a magic straightening treatment once some time has passed, for real.

Oreudeubi in Sindang really stood out to me for its attentiveness and hair design. If you're looking for a salon around Sindang, Wangsimni, or Sangwangsimni, I recommend Oreudeubi.
