Seongsu café signature supeoni with sugar-crack top and fig soufflé: 5to7

Hi, it's Dallaengi :) I went to hang out in Seoul Forest and stopped by a soufflé place that's genuinely super famous — once I tried it myself, I totally got why it's so popular. The space itself has such a nice vibe, and with the weather like this, it's perfect for chilling on the terrace with a forest view, so let me introduce it to you~!

5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is a 5-minute walk from Exit 5 of Seoul Forest Station, on the Seoul Forest café street. Paid parking is available nearby at Seongdong-gu Community Sports Center (₩300/5 min) and the Seoul Forest public parking lot (₩150/5 min).

1. Exterior & interior

5to7 is a large café on the Seoul Forest café street, with a first floor, second floor, and rooftop.

Walking inside, you're greeted with a warm wood-tone interior and an emotional, cozy atmosphere — the lighting is a bit dim, which makes that particular cozy mood come through even more at this Seoul Forest café.

Both the first and second floors have terraces, so with weather this breezy lately, having coffee and dessert outside is absolutely perfect.

Especially pretty is the view of Seoul Forest's green trees filling the window — a genuinely healing spot to sit in the whole time.

2. Menu

5to7 is a Seoul Forest café known for everything from hand-drip coffee to distinctive signature drinks, plus a fluffy soufflé pancake baked fresh to order.

Matcha, pearl crème brûlée, tiramisu soufflé, and the seasonal fig soufflé made with seasonal fruit are all beloved desserts here.

3. Fig soufflé

We ordered the signature 5to7 supeoni, a Dutch americano, and the fig soufflé.

First, the 5to7 supeoni is the café's signature drink — a vanilla latte topped with soft custard cream — but unlike other cafés, it also has a thin, crisp sugar coating on top, just like crème brûlée.

Crack it open with a spoon and take a bite of the bittersweet coffee with the sweet cream, and a pleasant sweetness spreads through your mouth.

The americano had a clean, refreshing taste that cuts right through the dessert's sweetness, with decent bean flavor — it paired really well with the soufflé pancake haha.

The fig soufflé was a visual knockout from the start — soft cream cascading like a waterfall over two soufflé pancakes, densely wrapped in fresh figs.

Fresh from the oven, warm and cloud-soft, it just melted in my mouth — genuinely delicious. If you're heading to a Seoul Forest café, I recommend 5to7!!

The figs were sweet with a nice bursting texture too, and combined with the soft cream and fluffy soufflé pancake, the whole combo was seriously insane.

My friend who came with me really enjoyed it too — this is a place I'd give a 200% repeat-visit rating, and if you go to 5to7, you absolutely have to try the soufflé pancake~!!

4. Final thoughts

With plenty of seating, this Seoul Forest café felt comfortable, and the green forest view beyond the terrace made it naturally healing. Between the fig soufflé that melts in your mouth and the signature supeoni, everything was satisfying, so I highly recommend it to anyone who wants pretty desserts that are also delicious and never a letdown~!
