Nutty Ibaba latte at a quiet Jeonpo café in Busan: Ibaba Coffee

I was looking for a café in Jeonpo, Busan where I could relax with a good cup of coffee, and that's how I ended up at Ibaba Coffee. There are so many cafés in Jeonpo that it's hard to choose, but I came here because I heard it had a calm vibe and was known for great lattes!

Where is Ibaba Coffee, and can you bring a dog?

Ibaba Coffee is located near Jeonpo Café Street in Busan. It's a good spot to stop by while wandering the café street, and also a fine choice for a date in Jeonpo.

Jeonpo has so many cafés that choosing where to go is always a struggle, but this time I picked Ibaba Coffee because of the many reviews praising its lattes and atmosphere. There's a terrace space out front, so dogs are welcome too!

Just a heads-up if you're planning a visit — it's closed on Mondays!

Inside Ibaba Coffee: a clean, calm black-toned space

The interior overall felt clean and modern. With black as the main color, the space feels calm yet sophisticated — great for a comfortable chat! Many Jeonpo cafés lean toward loud, flashy interiors, but Ibaba Coffee felt more like a neatly organized space than a decorated one, which was very much my style haha.

What really caught my eye was the wide table in the center! It's spacious enough to spread out a laptop and work, or to sit quietly alone reading a book with a cup of coffee :)

The seats also felt spaced out rather than cramped together, which I liked. In Jeonpo you'll find plenty of pretty cafés, but some aren't actually comfortable to sit in for long — Ibaba Coffee felt like a place where you could relax and take your time!

Since Ibaba Coffee is known for its lattes, the standout signature menu item is of course the Ibaba latte! They also have cafe latte, cappuccino, and hand-drip coffee, plus several non-coffee drinks, so it looks like a good spot to bring friends who can't drink coffee too.

For dessert, I heard nunettine (a layered pastry) and Basque cheesecake are the famous options, so keep that in mind if you're planning to order dessert.

How the Ibaba latte tastes: smooth and nutty

Whenever a café has a signature menu item, I usually try it at least once, and since Ibaba Coffee is known for its lattes, I didn't hesitate to order the signature Ibaba latte :)

First, the Ibaba latte had a great balance between smooth milk and coffee. The cream on top wasn't too rich or greasy — it was nutty and easy to sip, and mixed well with the coffee for a delicious drink :)

The Americano had a clean, straightforward taste, so it was nice to order it alongside the latte and alternate between the two. If you find soft drinks like a latte a bit much, or you prefer the pure taste of coffee, the Americano is the way to go.

Overall, Jeonpo's Ibaba Coffee felt like the kind of place I'll think of whenever I want to sit back and enjoy a coffee in a quiet, calm atmosphere. If you're looking for a latte spot in Jeonpo, or a pet-friendly café, I'd recommend Ibaba Coffee :)
