🧸: This is the food team. Today we visited Gyedan Ramen, a well-known ramen spot in Ilsan's Bamlidan-gil. It's already famous, but here's a detailed review for anyone who hasn't tried it yet.

How does the Gyedan Ramen taste?
🍜Gyedan Ramen. This one felt like a classic ramen — noodles and toppings in harmony with a rich broth — and the soup was deep and full of umami, delicious from the very first sip.
The noodles paired well with the broth, and it wasn't overly greasy, so I kept reaching for the soup too. Probably because the pork bones and chicken stock are simmered for a long time — the broth was really rich, and this was my favorite!
How does the motsu ramen taste?
🍜Motsu Ramen. Savory, chewy beef tripe (motsu) with a rich tonkotsu broth! The bouncy, chewy motsu gave it a different charm from regular ramen.
The distinctive savory flavor of the motsu went well with the rich broth, and the more you chewed, the more flavor came through — I'd recommend this to anyone who likes trying something different in ramen. Ordering both menus together made comparing them fun.

Three chashu chunks and finishing with rice in the broth
The chashu inside the Gyedan Ramen was so tender, with zero gamey smell, and they gave three big chunks!
Once you finish the noodles, mixing rice into the leftover broth gives it a guk-bap (soup with rice) feel and makes it even tastier haha. Gyedan Ramen was a solid place to go whenever you're craving ramen in Bamlidan-gil! Recommended.
