Today I want to introduce a place in Ingye-dong that's perfect when you're craving a hot, spicy soup. It's an Ingye-dong restaurant where you can taste Jeju's signature dishes all at once — haejangguk (hangover soup) of course, but also dombe pork and yangmuchim (seasoned tripe salad).

Does Jeju Eunhuine in Ingye-dong have parking?
Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a Jeju-style haejangguk restaurant on the 1st floor of 28 Hyowon-ro 265beon-gil, Paldal-gu, Suwon. The big signboard made it easy to spot. There's parking right in front of the building, and honestly, finding parking in Ingye-dong is exactly what made this Ingye-dong restaurant so great. It's also easy to reach by public transportation, which was a bonus.

Menu prices on the sign at the entrance
There's a standing menu sign at the entrance. Haejangguk is ₩12,000 and naejangtang (tripe soup) is ₩13,000. Dombe pork comes in small (₩13,000), medium (₩24,000), and large (₩35,000). Yangmuchim is ₩16,000, and the set with both yangmuchim and dombe pork is ₩20,000. It noted that local currency, credit cards, and prepaid cards are all accepted. Next to it was a sign directing you to the basement parking lot if the front lot is full.

Dol hareubang figures around the dining room
Beneath the big signboard sit a basalt stone wall and a dol hareubang (traditional Jeju stone grandfather statue). It's even wearing a straw hat, giving off a real Jeju vibe. At night the lighting turns on and it looks even prettier.

There are small dol hareubang figures on the counter too. They were wearing orange knit hats, and it was so cute. This restaurant has fun little details to spot.

Here's the counter. Next to the card reader are a toothpick dispenser and hand sanitizer. It's a Suwon Pay (local currency) merchant, which made paying convenient. There was even candy set out for you to grab on your way out.

Coffee vending machine and high chairs at Jeju Eunhuine
There's a coffee vending machine near the entrance, good for a cup after your meal. Two baby chairs sit next to it, so this looks like a great restaurant to bring kids to as well.

Here's the menu board inside the restaurant. Prices matched the outdoor sign, and I noticed a line saying rice refills are free when you order one meal per person.

How big is the dining room and how far apart are the tables?
The inside of Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch was much bigger than I expected. The tables are spaced generously apart too, making it a comfortable Ingye-dong restaurant to eat at. It looked like a great spot whether you come alone or with family.

On the wall hangs a lit-up sculpture map of Jeju Island. Beside it is a row of framed menu photos. There's also a sign for the self-serve bar, so you just grab whatever you need yourself.

Ordering haejangguk, tripe soup and the yangmuchim-dombe pork set
Our food arrived. We ordered haejangguk, naejangtang, and the yangmuchim-dombe pork set, and the table was so full it made me happy just looking at it.

The side dishes were simple: diced radish kimchi, green chili peppers, minced garlic, and ssamjang (seasoned soybean paste). The rice came as multigrain rice, which made the meal feel even heartier.

Yangmuchim (spicy tripe salad), 16,000 won
Here's the yangmuchim. Shredded vegetables and tripe come tossed heavily in gochujang seasoning, and with the sweet-sour and spicy kick together, it was a total rice thief.

Dombe pork, Jeju-style boiled pork slices
The dombe pork came sliced thick with its texture intact. The fatty parts were chewy and the lean meat wasn't dry at all. There was no gamy smell whatsoever, so it was delicious even eaten plain.

Haejangguk (hangover soup), 12,000 won
The haejangguk comes served in an earthenware pot like this. It's packed generously with ugeoji (dried napa cabbage leaves), bean sprouts, and seonji (blood cubes). The broth was so refreshing and spicy hot — this restaurant seems perfect for curing a hangover.

I scooped a bit of yangmuchim onto a small plate. It had so much seasoning soaked in that it would make a great drinking snack on its own.

How to eat it: tripe salad piled on dombe pork
And here I am wrapping yangmuchim on top of dombe pork. The savoriness of the meat and the sweet-sour-spicy seasoning hit together, and this combo kept the rice going in nonstop.
I also tried a spoonful of the broth. The ugeoji was tender to chew, and the broth was clean and not heavy at all.

Finishing the broth and adding a takeout order
I finished every last drop of the broth. We loved it so much we even added takeout on our way out. With parking available and a spacious dining room, it was an easy Ingye-dong restaurant to visit. I'd recommend this Ingye-dong restaurant for whenever you're craving a hot, spicy soup. It's genuinely delicious and great.
