Then the coloring began in earnest. To cleanly neutralize the uneven red tones, Senior Designer Se-hyeon carefully applied the color all over. I was worried because my scalp is sensitive, but the process was comfortable without irritation.

Once the color had absorbed well, I finished up with a refreshing shampoo in the massage chair and got ready for the final styling. Just as I wanted, the curls looked neat and the black was not overly dark, so it looked clean rather than dated.

After the blow-dry, I looked in the mirror and could not help smiling^^ The dated, multicolored red-toned curls were nowhere to be found; instead, a sophisticated, dimensional deep black had settled in beautifully. With the tidied ends and well-finished cut, my face shape stood out more and my hair looked healthier too.

This was not a heavy, stifling black; it was a tone-down that brightened and suited my skin tone, so every time I look in the mirror, I am glad I dyed it black.
