I did want to laze around this weekend morning, but yesterday was Ganadi Beauty, and today it's off to Cheongdam-dong for my own hair, ready set go.

I recently got what's called a disconnecting cut, where the hair just curls in naturally when you blow-dry it — but turns out, I've been getting a lot of flyaways, and if I don't manage my roots it looks way messier >.<

Before the root touch-up my hair was pretty dry and frizzy. I also had a Rejuran procedure at the dermatologist yesterday, so the condition is really rough right now 🤭 the road to anti-aging is a bumpy one. Took my seat at Beorn Hair, a salon in Cheongdam.

They offer welcome tea too, but I'd already brought my own coffee, so I just asked for the welcome food. Cute little cookies and coin chocolates 🍫

Deputy Director Hyeseong handled my root touch-up today 💇‍♂️ — good-looking, first of all... haha — but more importantly, his hands are seriously fast!

Root touch-ups can drag on and get tiring to sit through, but Director Hyeseong worked quickly and thoroughly, one step after another, so the waiting time never felt boring at all.

The messy roots are all cleaned up now ✨ (my face, on the other hand, is at peak puffiness..)
