Where is Selected Nicks in Yeoksam-dong?

This time I visited Selected Nicks, a large rooftop café near Gangnam Station~ I'd known about it for a while since it's a good spot in Yeoksam-dong for laptop work or studying.

It's right in the middle of the city, so you have to find the entrance carefully. It had been a while since my last visit and I almost got lost, but thankfully I found it right away.

Walking into the 1st floor, a flashy interior appeared.

There were all kinds of dessert products, and they looked good for gifts too~

Ordering at the 1st-floor kiosk

You order at Selected Nicks via the kiosk in front of the counter inside the 1st floor. Since it had been a while since my last visit, I noticed quite a few changes. The store's usage guide was also well laid out, so first-time visitors shouldn't have any trouble.

The staff were friendly too, which made it even nicer to use. The colorful packaging really caught the eye.

There were lots of different products, and it seemed like a good photo zone too.

Customers kept pouring in, so I quickly ordered and grabbed a seat.

It was a hot spot even on a weekday afternoon, with lots of people coming in. The floor guide was also very detailed.

There's also a happy hour set, so if you visit during that time, be sure to check it out. The tiramisu came in quite a variety of types.

I went with the chocolate banana tiramisu. As the café's signature dessert, there are many varieties and the quality is reliable.

Basement level and rooftop: how each floor feels

After ordering, I went down to check out the basement floor, which also had quite a few customers so I couldn't take many photos. Overall it looked like a comfortable, quiet spot to sit.

Then I headed straight up to the rooftop. It's usually a really popular floor with lots of people, but luckily there weren't many that day, so I got to take photos comfortably.

It's a spot where you can look out over Gangnam's high-rise skyline all at once.

Since it's a rooftop, it's great for enjoying the Gangnam city view, but people with a fear of heights should be careful. The view was really great, but since I wanted to sit comfortably, I went back down~

There used to be seating right where you order too, but that seems to be gone now, so I went up to another floor.

The 2nd-floor Taeowork exhibition and working alone

On the 2nd floor of Selected Nicks, a solo exhibition by Taeowork was on view at the time of my visit. The exhibition space was quite spacious and pleasant.

The exhibition info was detailed too, and thankfully the café was usable even while the exhibition was running.

It felt like a calm, comfortable space, good for working alone.

My order arrived quickly.

Chocolate banana tiramisu and hot milk tea

Even solo, I devoured the tiramisu in no time~ As mentioned, this time it was the chocolate banana tiramisu.

Apparently there's currently an event where you get a lottery ticket for writing a photo review.

I already love chocolate banana and drink it as a beverage a lot, but this time I tried it as a dessert instead.

The visuals alone were really eye-catching.

I paired it with hot milk tea, and surprisingly they went really well together.

The chocolate banana tiramisu looked almost like a work of art.

It had a moist texture and a sweet chocolate banana flavor.
