Of all the salons I've been to recently, this one had the prettiest interior haha. The clean, sensitive interior design caught my eye and just put me in a good mood.

Is this a hair salon or a café,, it was so pretty I got confused haha.

How many days before the wedding shoot should you color your hair?

They say dyeing 7~10 days before the shoot is usually best, so I booked and visited 'Juno Hair Dongtan Solbitnaru Branch' exactly 10 days before my photoshoot.

💡 Why you should get your wedding dye 7~10 days before the shoot! Right after dyeing, the strong shampoo finish on the first day can make the color look darker and deeper than expected. After about 7~10 days and several shampoos, the color fades a little into the natural tone you actually wanted — so I'd really recommend doing it ahead of time!

A winter cool-tone bride's color pick: ash brown, level 7

One of the things I stressed over most before my wedding photoshoot was my hair color! I'm a winter cool tone, and it turns out matte brown and ash brown are the two colors winter cool-tone brides go for most for their wedding dye.

Taking my winter cool-tone personal color into account, the designer recommended ash brown! I went back and forth between tone level 6 and 7, and decided on 7!

They brought out drinks and snacks while I waited for the dye to process!

Dyeing day vs. day 5: how the ash brown changed

My hair before the wedding dye! Just plain plain black hair, and then !!!!!

Right after coming out of the dye! Under natural light it looked like this!! On the day of dyeing, the tone was pressed down to control the red undertones, so it felt a bit dark on day one,

By day 5 after dyeing, just like the designer said, the color faded ever so naturally little by little each day, and a luxurious, bright ash brown with no red tones came through!

It has none of the redness or yellowness typical of ash brown — it feels like a spoonful of ash mixed in, so I'm way more satisfied than when I did a regular brown dye before!! I'd recommend it to anyone who hates it when brown hair fades into red or a dated-looking yellow over time.

It has such a matte, soft feel — I'm curious how it'll look under the wedding dress and lighting haha!!! From the deep tone right after dyeing, the more I shampoo, the more this mysterious brown tone with ash naturally blended in comes through, and it looks more appealing the more time passes.
