Hwaseong nail salon for muted brown and beige art: Green Nail

With the weather getting cooler lately, I wanted to give my fingertips a change too, so I visited Green Nail, a nail salon in Bansong-dong, Dongtan. I tend to wear vivid or bright nails in summer, but this fall I was drawn to something calmer and moodier, so I picked this month’s art! From the cute yet tidy interior to the meticulous and friendly owner—because it is run one-on-one, I could relax even more during my appointment. Here’s my review of Green Nail’s fall monthly art ✔️

Green Nail, the Bansong-dong nail salon in Dongtan, is located right near Central Park. Since appointments are handled one-on-one, booking ahead before visiting is essential ✔️ Along with gel nails, the salon also offers hand and foot care, problem hand-and-foot care, and lashes. There are a few parking spaces directly behind the salon, too.

A private one-on-one treatment room

I arrived at the nail salon right at my appointment time! The owner greeted me warmly with a bright smile as soon as I walked in, haha. The salon is not huge, but the interior was neat overall, and the shelves were packed with nail-art supplies ✨ There were so many gel colors and types that it felt like there was no nail supply they did not have.

Since it is a hand-and-foot specialty salon, I think hygiene is especially important. Green Nail had sterilizing equipment ready and was clean overall, so I could visit with confidence ⭐️ There was also a separate area set up for pedicure appointments.

There were so many kinds of nail art—from various monthly designs to syrup nails, French nails, glitter nails, and mother-of-pearl nails—that my eyes got wide just trying to choose 👀 Basic gel nails were pretty too, but today I picked one of the muted monthly-art designs that was giving major fall vibes ❣️

Basic care for short nails and fall monthly art

Even though I try hard to grow them out, I have a habit of biting my nails, so they are a little shortㅠㅠ This is after the basic care, and wow—just the care alone made them look like completely different hands >< I loved that she did not rush through it, but worked slowly and meticulously from the very beginning.

Here are my nails photographed under the lights after this month’s nail art was finished! I thought calm colors such as brown and beige would be pretty for fall, so I chose a similar design. With added accents, it is pretty without feeling like too much for everyday wear 🥹💛

It also includes magnetic nails, so each nail has a different accent. It is not boring, yet it does not stand out too much either—totally my style ^^
