Getting to Double D: 5 minutes on foot from Bujeon Station

Double D is about a 5-minute walk from Bujeon Station and around 10 minutes from Seomyeon or Jeonpo Station, so it was easy to reach — a lash beauty shop with great accessibility. It had been quite a while since my last lash lift, so I was looking for a place to get it redone and decided on this one after seeing good reviews 💛

Inside Double D: the salon interior and waiting area

I've been to several places for lash lifts, and most were fairly small, but Double D's interior is spacious, clean, and has an upscale feel. The director greeted me kindly too, so even as a first-time visitor I felt comfortable during the treatment.

Pretty props and lighting are placed throughout, which made the whole shop feel even more upscale. These small details seem to make the space that much more polished and pretty 💛

The treatment space is spacious and unhurried too, so I could get the treatment even more comfortably 🤍 The director has 14 years of experience and handles everything from lash lifts to extensions and brow consulting professionally!

Consultation: what is a no-glue perm and a damage-free clinic perm?

First I had a consultation with the director. They use a no-glue perm, and pair every treatment with a damage-free clinic perm to minimize lash damage!! She carefully consulted with me on the curl and direction I wanted, as well as a design that would suit my eye shape, so I ended up with exactly the look I wanted.

How did the lash perm at Double D go?

Now for the actual treatment ✨ I lay down comfortably for the procedure, and since no glue was used, there was less discomfort around my eyes. Before starting, she also applied ointment near my eyelids to carefully prevent any possible irritation 🤍 The atmosphere was so relaxing that I actually fell into a deep sleep during the lash lift haha

Let me show you the before first. It had been about two months since my last lash lift, and the curl had mostly dropped and gone limp,, haha. With my lashes drooping like that, my eyes looked kind of flat and dull 😂

I even had to put on false lashes every time I did my makeup haha. It was seriously getting tedious. So I figured I had to do something and came here, and the lift turned out so well I was completely satisfied. Now let me show you the after right away ❤️

After: lifted lashes in under an hour

Every single lash lifted up so beautifully, right?! When the treatment was done and she showed me the mirror, I was so happy with the result 🤍 My lashes tend to grow in layers, and usually the shorter, layered ones that don't lift well just get cut off, but at Double D they didn't miss a single one — they lifted even the layered lashes one by one, so overall it looked much fuller and more defined 👍

There was barely any irritation and the treatment finished neatly in under an hour. Since it didn't take long and I got the curl I wanted, I was even more satisfied.

Comparing it on video, the difference is obvious! Just changing my lashes made such a difference in my eyes >< This time the curl came out exactly the way I wanted, so I was extremely happy with this lash lift 🤍

Now that I've had the lift, false lashes are officially a bye 👋🏻 haha. Gluing on lashes every morning used to be such a hassle, but now just a swipe of black lash serum makes my eyes look defined, so my makeup time has definitely gotten shorter 🤍 Just having pretty lashes really sharpens your whole look, so I was really happy with this lift!
