Inside the café at 10:30 a.m. on a weekday
I came just for the view, but the interior of this Gwangalli brunch café, Working Holiday Minrak, was gorgeous too. We arrived around 10:30am on a weekday, and there were plenty of people sipping coffee while looking out at the sea, others eating brunch, and some working on their laptops.

The scenery, the view, the space, the music — everything was so good that whatever you did there felt great.
Gwangan Bridge ocean-view seats
Of all the Gwangalli cafés and restaurants I've visited, Working Holiday Minrak had the best view. The weather was great too, which made it even better.

Most people sat facing the sea, and as lunchtime approached, even the inner tables filled up.

I couldn't capture all of the delicious food and the amazing view, but I really enjoyed this Gwangalli brunch with such a stunning outlook.
Genovese pizza, 26,000 won: chewy fermented dough
We ordered the Genovese pizza for ₩26,000 and fish and chips for ₩21,000. Usually at brunch cafés the portions are small, so you need to order at least three dishes, but at this Gwangalli brunch café, Working Holiday, the portions were generous.

The Genovese pizza, ₩26,000, whose highlight is the deep flavor of a sauce simmered for a long time.

They say Working Holiday in Gwangalli uses dough fermented daily with the Viga method for a long time, giving the pizza a light, chewy texture and deep flavor. The dough really was light and chewy, and the Genovese sauce was genuinely delicious. My friend had tried it before and recommended it, and it really was amazing!

Fish and chips, 21,000 won: herb mayo makes it
The fish and chips, ₩21,000, pairs so well with a cold beer or white wine — moist inside, crispy outside, with herb mayo as the kick.

It comes with herb mayo and salsa sauce, and both sauces were really delicious.

The plump fried John Dory was really delicious.

Dipped in the herb mayo, I couldn't stop eating it. It would've been such a great pizza-and-beer atmosphere, but my friend held back since she couldn't drink alone — the fish and chips really made me crave a beer...
Who should visit Working Holiday Minrak?
Working Holiday Minrak also has specialty coffee, so you can comfortably hang out with just a cup of coffee. It's a great Gwangalli pizza spot for a family gathering when your parents visit during the holidays — I'd recommend it for dates, family gatherings, and group meetups alike!
