Konkuk ice cream shop for after-izakaya dessert: Beurre Beurre

Hi everyone! I went out to Konkuk and after an izakaya dinner, I grabbed ice cream for dessert haha!! It's so fun to eat that I really need to hold back after September, but anyway~~~ I heard there was a new ice cream/dessert spot in Konkuk Rodeo, so I went to check it out.

Where is Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch? Near Exit 6 of Konkuk University Station

If you get off at Exit 6 of Konkuk University Station, you'll immediately see a Paris Baguette, and Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch is right nearby!! It's Beurre Beurre ice cream, which is on the healthier side since it's not too sweet.

Like this, it's located right next to Konkuk Mono Mansion, and the sign and interior have a strong presence, so it should be easy to find.

The 'premium butter ice cream' sign catches your eye. Apparently Beurre Beurre ice cream is made with French butter that's 82% milk fat, loved worldwide — knowing that somehow makes it taste even better..

Beurre Beurre flavor lineup and the mint choco and matcha combo

There's a really wide variety of flavors. I'm unconditionally team mint choco so I picked that first, and added I Love So Matcha on top. Next time I want to try Nutty Peanut Butter and Vanilla Boomerang, or maybe the refreshing Oh! Lemonzy!! Anyway, my combo turned out kind of random.

Mint choco + matcha = my odd little combo, that's what I went with.

Beurre Beurre prices: single 4,700 won, double 6,500 won

I went with the two-flavor double. One flavor single is ₩4,700, two-flavor double is ₩6,500, and three-flavor triple is... how much? It's not listed;

That's how it works, just for reference haha. They also have a six-pack packaging option that can hold six flavors, which looks great for bringing to a friend's place haha.

Inside Beurre Beurre: atmosphere and the drink menu

Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo Branch is nicely decorated from the exterior all the way to the interior. It's cute, and the color combo is pretty good too. The red theme with occasional blue accents seems to fit well with the brand image haha.

You can browse the ice cream in all its various flavors,

and besides ice cream, I'll attach the drink menu too for reference!! Lattes or shakes seem like they'd be tasty too. The cup bingsu looked the most striking visually, so I was curious about that as well.

How does the mint choco taste? Cool and barely sweet

My mint choco and I Love So Matcha arrived! Since it's a two-flavor double, the matcha is at the bottom, so only the mint on top is visible.

I tried the mint on its own first, and it's way cleaner and more cooling than the mint I had in mind. If you like mint, you'll definitely love this. It's not too sweet, so it's a healthier take where the sharp, cooling flavor of mint itself really shines through. I was totally into it!!!!!!!!!!!

I Love So Matcha is packed with big cookie chunks

Once you're about halfway through the mint, the matcha flavor shows up like this — and the matcha is also cleanly not-too-sweet, with a bitter matcha taste and really chunky cookie pieces mixed in, which made it fun to eat. It's not overly sweet, but the matcha flavor comes through bitter and rich, so it was really delicious.

If you're looking for a good ice cream spot or dessert spot near Konkuk, try Beurre Beurre@!!!!!!! It was a dessert I enjoyed cleanly, healthily, without too much sweetness haha. I'd definitely go back!!

Compared to the Mon–Thu schedule, both opening and closing are pushed back thirty minutes on Fri/Sat/Sun haha. This was Beurre Beurre Konkuk Rodeo branch with its wide variety of flavors, good accessibility, and reasonable prices, so I hope everyone enjoys a fun dessert too..🥰💛💛💛
