Ogeum Station all-you-can-eat steak: 12-cut World course at Sekaro

In short

Sekaro Steak Songpa Main Branch is an all-you-can-eat steak restaurant a 3-minute walk from exits 5 and 6 of Ogeum Station in Songpa, Seoul. Two of us sat at the U-shaped counter and picked the World Steak course at 68,000 won, ordering 12 steak cuts plus pasta, soup, yukhoe (raw beef) and dessert from a tablet, and the limited-quantity kkurisal (chuck flap) steak was the best bite of the night. If you want unlimited beef but also a spread of cooked dishes alongside it, the Sekaro World Steak course is the one to book.

I went to Sekaro, an all-you-can-eat steak place in Songpa! You can enjoy everything from beef to pasta and still get a nice atmosphere — here's my Sekaro review ✨

Sekaro Steak Songpa Main Branch: what to know before you go

  • Location: 61 Songi-ro 17-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, 1st floor (3-minute walk from Oegum Station exits 5 and 6)
  • Reservations: available via Naver Reservation and Catch Table
  • Recommended menu: the 'World Steak' course with unlimited 12 steak cuts and 10 dishes (₩68,000)

Walking 3 minutes from Ogeum Station to Sekaro: finding the door

Sekaro is a very short 3-minute walk from Oegum Station exits 5 and 6. Even the exterior doesn't feel like your typical all-you-can-eat meat place — it's clean and sophisticated. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a quiet, cozy meal 🤍

Inside Sekaro Songpa: atmosphere and seating

The moment I walked in, it felt less like a barbecue restaurant and more like a pretty, tasteful bar or café. I usually love hunting for nice-vibe cafés, and the calm wood-tone interior with soft lighting really won me over haha

I expected a loud, bustling all-you-can-eat place, but it was quieter and more comfortable than I thought, which made it easy to focus on the meal!

This looks like the waiting area..🌟

The restaurant's main seating is U-shaped counter seating, and there are also 4 private rooms further inside for a more private meal 👏👏

Since there were two of us, we were seated at the counter — and being right next to the cooking area meant food came out quickly, which was actually great haha

How ordering works at Sekaro: everything on the tablet

Not just the steak, but side dishes, sauces, and cooked dishes too — nothing is preset for you. Everything has to be ordered through the tablet. Once you're seated, order quickly~!!(⁎⁍̴̀﹃ ⁍̴́⁎)♡

Sekaro's three all-you-can-eat courses and prices

There are three all-you-can-eat courses here. Classic (₩32,000) with 3 steak cuts, Sekaro (₩48,000) with 6 cuts, and World (₩68,000) with 12 cuts! Elementary schoolers and toddlers get separate pricing, and it's free for under 36 months, so it seemed fine for family visits too.

Also note — everyone at the table has to choose the same course 🌟 So if your table picks the World course, everyone uses the World Steak course!! You can still order whichever cuts you personally want to eat, freely.

Is 120 minutes enough for the World Steak course?

We went with World Steak (₩68,000), the one with the most steak options 😋 It's a pass that lets you enjoy 12 steak cuts and 10 dishes as much as you want, but ordering is limited to 90 minutes and total dining time to 120 minutes. Since the clock starts the moment you place your first order, I initially thought I'd need to eat as much as possible within the time — but after actually eating, about an hour was plenty for ordering and dining, so we ended up with more time left than expected haha

Confirmation screen after ordering the World Steak pass

Also, the remaining time is always shown at the top of the tablet, which made it easy to check in the middle of the meal!

Once you've ordered the World Steak pass, you can just freely pick and order any menu items in the World Steak category ✨

Which drinks are included with the Sekaro course?

This is the alcohol & drinks menu — aside from the cream draft beer, guava ade, and yuzu ade included in the World Steak category, all other drinks or alcohol have to be ordered separately. Just because you ordered the World Steak pass doesn't mean every drink is included, so keep that in mind when ordering!

Raw beef cuts shown to us before grilling at Sekaro

Before actually grilling, they also showed us each cut one by one! Overall the meat looked fresh, which I appreciated haha 👍

This is the basic table setup!! Just whole grain mustard and cream sauce are set out. Wasabi, jalapeños, white kimchi, etc. all need to be ordered via the tablet.

What we ordered at Sekaro Songpa Main Branch

Mozzarella salad ordered as a starter at Sekaro
Mozzarella salad

The first starter we picked! I'd recommend starting light with the mozzarella salad as a palate opener.

Two glasses of Sekaro's guava ade and yuzu ade

This is the guava ade and yuzu ade! Both were tasty, but personally guava ade was better — I'd recommend it haha 🍹 It's a flavor you don't often get to try, so it stood out more. And if you run low on drinks, you can get free refills~~😘 We ended up adding another glass of guava ade partway through.

Best of the 12 steak cuts: why kkurisal won

And here's a collection of shots of us chewing, tasting, and enjoying each cut of beef steak lol

We really enjoyed it to our heart's content haha. The staff grilled each cut to the doneness that suits it best, so all we had to do was sit back and enjoy!

Kkurisal and salchisal steaks, our top picks

If I had to pick our favorites among the steaks: kkurisal (chuck flap) steak, salchisal (top blade) steak, emperor short rib steak, premium Korean beef tongue steak, bucheatsal (shoulder blade) steak, and soy-marinated emperor short rib steak! Preferences may vary, but these are the ones I personally loved enough to photograph haha. And if I had to pick just one favorite among them — the kkurisal steak! It was tender and easy to eat, with great flavor, so I was very satisfied. Just note that kkurisal is served in limited quantity, so if you want to try it, order it right away!

Sekaro's yukhoe served with fried seaweed chips

Yukhoe, pollack roe pasta and soup: the cooked dishes worth ordering

This is Sekaro's yukhoe (raw beef)! Yukhoe paired with fried seaweed chips — a combination I'd never seen before, but it works perfectly, so definitely try it haha

For pasta, we tried two: creamy pollock roe pasta and oil-based pollock roe pasta. The roe bursts in each bite and there are plump shrimp mixed in too, but the portion is about a third the size of a regular pasta serving, so it was perfect for pairing between steak bites. Being a side dish didn't mean the quality was any lower.

We also had broccoli cream soup along the way! It was my first time trying it, and it tasted better than expected with a slightly upscale feel, making it a nice thing to have every so often between steak courses haha. If you're debating whether to try something new, I'd recommend giving this one a go!

Chilled octopus and potato salad served cold

The chilled octopus and potato salad tasted even better for being served cold! 🤩 After eating warm steak continuously, having the cold octopus and potato salad in between felt refreshing 🐙

Panna cotta pudding dessert ordered for dessert

Finally, for dessert we ordered the panna cotta pudding 🍮 Soft and sweet, it was a great way to finish off the meal, and it was dotted with fruits like strawberries for a sweet, tangy finish.

Verdict on Sekaro's World Steak course in Songpa

Here's our full order list lol — we really ate well and filled up. Since we weren't just eating steak nonstop but also enjoying pasta, salad, soup, and more, we didn't get sick of it and could keep eating happily until the end haha. If you want to eat tons of beef or enjoy a variety of dishes alongside it, I'd recommend Sekaro's World Steak!🥩
