If you pick the dongpo pork ramen, you get both dongpo pork and jambon char siu together, so you can enjoy two flavors at once! Menya Seoul's dongpo pork char siu falls apart softly along the grain with just a light touch of the chopsticks — now I understand why the dongpo pork char siu ramen is their signature!! There was truly no gamey pork smell at all, and it was so tender and delicious that it genuinely surprised me. This Guwol-dong ramen spot is 100% legit!!

The jambon is folded in half too, but it's huge in size. Wrapped up and eaten with the ramen together, the clean, savory flavor of the char siu is outstanding!

Does the spicy broth really work as hangover food?

Menya Seoul's spicy broth was legit hangover recovery food after a night of drinking. The noodles had a springy, chewy texture that was just right! And the spicy broth I chose — red and thick, clearly promising some heat! Sure enough, after a drink the night before, the moment I scooped up a spoonful of broth the spiciness hit hard and it cured my hangover completely. Haha.

The set sides: gyoza dumplings and cider

For our set side, we chose gyoza dumplings and cider!

The gyoza dumplings were small but packed full of filling and really generous — we ate them up happily!

We finished every last bit cleanly and got both hangover relief and a full stomach in one meal! Haha.
