Since it's a newly opened store, everything felt clean overall, and I liked the modern, calm feel that came through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

The spacious room is filled with tables for two, and the atmosphere was quiet enough to relax in.

Sometimes I go to a café for coffee or dessert, but sometimes I just need alone time to sit quietly with a drink — this place felt perfect for that.

On my way back from the restroom, I noticed there's a theater on the 4th floor. Dinner, a show, and then finishing off with dessert at a nice café near Seoul National University Station — sounds like a solid date course, right?

I usually assume dessert cafés source from a specialty bakery, but Pulse Line Coffee actually makes theirs in-house — handmade, too!

There are two handmade desserts made right in the store!! I picked the handmade brûlée pie — a moist cookie crust, sweet caramel cream cheese filling, plus the added crunch of crumble.

I like pairing sweet desserts with a clean cup of coffee, so we ordered by preference without much thought — Americano and iced cold brew. The cold brew was definitely the smoother texture of the two.

I liked the vibe of this new café and the coffee and dessert were good, so I left a review and got the small gift — cold brew concentrate!! It came in a separate container, enough for one cup, which was a nice touch.

If you like lattes, the signature Line Suspender or Pulsnal Latte would be worth trying too. They're true signatures you can't get anywhere else.

Both of us go for Americano as our top pick, and we enjoy some acidity as well as a nutty, roasted flavor, so ordering is easy for us. If you prefer a nutty, roasted taste without any burnt notes over acidity, I'd recommend this café near Seoul National University Station — and the smooth cold brew is worth trying too.

Brûlée, made by caramelizing sugar into a hard shell, is usually firm in texture, but this handmade brûlée pie was soft and moist throughout and not too sweet, so it never felt heavy.

With the bright lemon zest giving it a clean finish, even my husband, who usually doesn't touch dessert, ate it happily.

From coffee that lets the bean's own aroma shine through to distinctive Australian- and French-style coffee menus, the range impressed me, and the desserts, being handmade, were clean and not too sweet.
