Cheonan café for a first crème brûlée flan tasting: Brewers Coffee

Today I went back to my favorite café in Sinbu-dong, Cheonan — Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch! I think it might genuinely be the number one Sinbu-dong café that Cheonan locals recommend, haha. Let me walk you through the review step by step.

Where is Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch, and its hours and parking

Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch is located at 20 Meokgeori9-gil, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do. It's open daily from 12:00-21:00, with last order at 20:30. For parking, Sinbu Public Parking Lot No. 4 and No. 5 give the first 30 minutes free, then it's ₩200 per additional 10 minutes, up to a max of ₩10,000.

The mood at this Sinbu-dong café: terrace and photo booth

Brewers Coffee is great at desserts and coffee, but I also really love it for the atmosphere inside. The interior is stylish too, so photos come out great. Highly recommend it as a chill café, haha.

There's also outdoor terrace seating, so on nice days it's great to enjoy the café outside. On weekends the seats are usually full, but you just register on the waiting machine in front of the store and wait.

I noticed Brewers Coffee now has a photo booth too — must be new. True to its chill café reputation, you can even take chill photos here. Looked like black-and-white shots. Give it a try if you get the chance, haha.

Warm sunlight came in, so the inside felt cozy and clean. It's also fun to look around at all the little interior details.

Brewers Coffee dessert lineup: madeleines, financiers, flan, canelé

There were so many kinds of desserts at Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch that I had a hard time choosing. The baked goods can also be boxed for gifting, which seemed nice. Almond chocolate madeleine, plain financier, apple Earl Grey financier, vanilla macadamia financier.

Salted chocolate chip madeleine, pecan espresso madeleine, salted caramel financier, salted chocolate financier, Dubai chocolate financier, butter rice cake financier.

Vanilla flan, cream brûlée flan, vanilla canelé, matcha ganache canelé, Earl Grey canelé, pistachio canelé — the dessert variety here is truly impressive. Visually, everything passes with flying colors!

Drink menu and signature coffee at Brewers Coffee

Brewers Coffee's signatures were the Brewers Coffee and the 041 Coffee. There's an explanation under the menu board, so check it out! You can also change the coffee beans, switch to oat milk, add an extra shot, or add syrup.

For coffee, there was espresso, americano, flat white, latte, cappuccino, mocha latte, and more, and for other drinks there was chamomile iced tea, flat peach iced tea, blueberry lemonade, salted caramel milk tea, choco latte, raspberry milk, and more. The menu lineup was really solid.

There was even walnut caramel ice cream. True to being a representative Cheonan café, they even have a dessert using Cheonan's famous walnuts! I'll have to come back and try that next time.

Self-bar and restroom

The self-bar had water, tissues, and other essentials. It was nice that there's a clean restroom inside the store too. Most Sinbu-dong café restrooms are usually outside the café, cramped and messy, but not this one.

What we ordered at Brewers Coffee and what it cost

This time at Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch I ordered flat peach iced tea for ₩6,000, an americano for ₩4,500, a cream brûlée flan for ₩6,000, and a Dubai chocolate financier for ₩4,000.

The drink color was so pretty, and the desserts looked so glossy and delicious. The drinks and desserts came out right away with barely any wait, which was great!

No matter how you shoot it, the photos come out great here. If you're looking for an aesthetic café in Sinbu-dong, Cheonan, this is definitely the place, haha.

Cream brûlée flan, 6,000 won: my first time trying flan

For desserts I ordered the cream brûlée flan and the Dubai chocolate financier. The Dubai chocolate financier is a delicious dessert I order every time I come.

The cream brûlée flan looked almost twice the size of the financier. I cracked the brûlée part with my fork — crack! haha. Since it was my first time trying flan, I wasn't sure what to expect.

Cutting it open, the inside felt a bit like an egg tart.

The outside was pastry, and the inside felt like vanilla cream — since it was my first flan, it was such a fun surprise, and sweet like an egg tart in a really tasty way. Seriously recommend the flan!! The brûlée part was sweet, and the inside had a totally different but equally delicious charm.

Dubai chocolate financier, 4,000 won

Dubai chocolate financier is a combination that just can't taste bad. The outside of the financier was coated in chocolate.

Inside was packed with Dubai chocolate kataifi — the financier here is already delicious on its own. Chewy on the outside, moist and sweet inside, and combined with the Dubai chocolate it was even better. You might think the Dubai chocolate trend has faded by now, but if you visit Brewers Coffee, definitely try this one, haha.

Flat peach iced tea: choose still or sparkling water

For the flat peach iced tea, you can choose between still water or sparkling water — I went with still water. Most iced teas are usually just made with water, so it was nice to have the option of sparkling water here too. Mixed well, it was sweet, refreshing, and paired great with the desserts.

This café is even great at americano! It made me want to try their other coffees too.
