A restaurant atmosphere that feels like Japan
The moment I walked in, it felt as though I had arrived in Japan, so I loved the atmosphere right away ☺️ The interior was neatly arranged, and the lighting and little decorations were all Japanese-style, which made it feel really nice haha.

What we ordered
There were so many delicious-looking options, but we ordered the tenderloin gyukatsu (breaded beef cutlet), ₩24,000, and the hamburg steak omurice, ₩17,000! The rice bowls and udon also looked tasty, so I want to try them next time haha.

While waiting for our food, I read the detailed instructions on the board about how to eat it. The staff also kindly explained everything, so even first-time visitors should be able to eat comfortably without getting confused!
My firsthand review

Each table had a mini brazier for grilling the gyukatsu haha. I think part of the fun of gyukatsu is grilling it yourself 😊

Tenderloin gyukatsu
I tried the gyukatsu first, and the beef was so tender 👍 Lightly grilling it with Isigny butter really brought out the flavor, making it even more delicious 😋
It looked so appetizing as it sizzled away 😋 You only need to cook it on the grill for about 15–20 seconds, but we prefer ours well-done, so we cooked it longer haha. It cooked quickly, which made it easy to eat!

I tried it as is, then with salt and wasabi, and it was not greasy at all—the rich, nutty flavor kept coming back to me 😋 I am a wasabi person, so I ended up eating it with almost nothing but wasabi haha.

Hamburg steak omurice
The omurice looked so cute too haha. The egg layer was nice and thick, yet soft in texture, so I was satisfied from the very first bite ☺️
For the omurice, you split the egg in half and pour over the sauce to finish it!

The sauce was not salty and had plenty of savory depth, so it went incredibly well scooped up with the egg, hamburg steak, and rice 💯 The portion was surprisingly generous too—we shared it between two and still ended up really full.

Overall
Overall, I was happy with both the interior atmosphere and the quality of the food! The gyukatsu was especially memorable because grilling it in butter was different and delicious, while the hamburg steak omurice was generously portioned and felt like good value too. If you are looking for a neat, tasty restaurant near Gwanggyo, or if you love gyukatsu, I think it is well worth a visit :)
