Super Waxing Gangnam is genuinely famous for Gangnam Station waxing! The location is honestly amazing — come out Exit 11 toward the main street, walk about 3 minutes, and it's right there on the 3rd floor of the City Building, facing the street! Super easy to find if you're taking public transit, and if you're driving, there's paid parking right in front at the City Building lot, so accessibility is excellent!

What's the vibe like inside

The moment I walked in after going up to the 3rd floor and opening the door, I was genuinely impressed!

The interior was really stylish and neatly organized!

The interior is modern but warm, so the usual first-visit tension just melted away haha

Turns out the director studied sculpture in art school! No wonder the decor and overall design sense throughout the shop felt a cut above.

Check out the price list posted in the shop too! Overall the pricing is really reasonable for the skill level, and they run various promotions. There's ₩10,000 off when you choose 3 or more areas, plus 10% off when combining Brazilian and body waxing, so it's worth asking before your visit.

Consultation and the wax they use

You fill out a short form before waxing~ and before the actual treatment, they do a quick consultation! Turns out Super Waxing Gangnam is an officially certified salon using Australian LYCON wax, the world's No. 1 premium brand since 1978. Both the director and staff completed the Australian Lycon master course and are veterans with over 10 years of experience. So excited already.

I especially loved that pretty mirrors were placed all around the shop! With stylish mirrors along every walkway, it's easy to check your condition before and after treatment, and the space is really pretty for mirror selfies too!

Is there a shower room and restroom?

One of the most important things when getting waxed is shower facilities, right? Super Waxing Gangnam has a shower room and restroom inside! Whether you drop by right after work or after outdoor activities, it's so convenient to shower cleanly before treatment! You can also tidy up and leave clean afterward — cleanliness management was absolutely perfect!

Getting men's underarm and chest waxing done

This time my friend got men's body waxing on two areas at Super Waxing Gangnam — underarm (₩20,000) and chest (₩40,000)! The veteran waxer's technique was clearly different! Her hands were so fast — applying the spatula and ripping it off happened in an instant.

When it hurts, you just have to hug it out tight... hahahahaha
