Seongdong café with Sangha Farm milk ice cream affogato: Mellows

While wandering around Seongsu, I stopped by a dessert café near Ttukseom Station — I heard they had Sangha Farm ice cream, so of course this dessert lover had to check it out. Haha, here's the Ttukseom Station dessert spot: Mellows!

I went looking for a good Seongsu dessert spot on the weekend and visited Mellows, well known as a Ttukseom Station café. Haha, good choice!

Where is Mellows? Two minutes from Ttukseom Station

True to its reputation as a Ttukseom Station dessert café, Mellows is just 2 minutes away, and it's also very close to Seongsu and Seoul Forest stations. The red arched brick facade looked so pretty. A great-vibe Seongsu dessert spot!

There are wooden chairs and a terrace out front that give it the feel of a European café. Such a nice interior atmosphere. I was surprised a café like this was tucked away in these back alleys.

Even though I went a bit later in the afternoon, it was already crowded. Round high tables, plus a bar table! The layout really fits the mood. I could tell right away the owner has great taste.

Café by day, cocktail pub by night at Mellows

Since Mellows is near Seoul Forest, right by Ttukseom Station, it's also great for grabbing an ice cream to go and taking a walk. A perfect route for exploring nearby hotspots together! There's something more unique here too — it's a café by day and transforms into a pub in the evening.

Mojitos, margaritas, highballs — lots of refreshing-looking drinks on the menu. Now I'm curious what the evening vibe is like! It transforms into a great-atmosphere pub where you can enjoy cocktails and drinks.

Sangha Farm milk ice cream and the topping choices

The weather's turned much cooler, perfect for walking around with an ice cream in hand! It's Sangha Farm ice cream, so it's smooth and even light on the palate.

It's a great spot to sit for a bit during a Seongsu date and people-watch outside. The popular ice cream menu has a wide range of toppings too — from fruits like strawberry, peach, and mango to affogato and matcha.

Arched windows and the interior of Mellows

The arched window really sets the mood — such a stylish, great-atmosphere café. I could totally see why it's such a popular Seoul Forest–vibe café.

The big windows let in plenty of light, making the space feel cozy and comfortable. The window bar seating has great atmosphere too. Mellows is the perfect place to sip coffee and properly enjoy a Seongsu dessert. If you're thinking of a Seoul Forest café date, I'd recommend it.

How the affogato tastes, plus the free cookies

I ordered the affogato, and the coffee flavor was excellent too. The ice cream melted smoothly in my mouth. And they topped it off nicely with a rollypolly cookie!

They also gave me a free cookie as a service. Haha, it was delicious! Such a kind owner~

The Sangha Farm milk ice cream has a rich, deep flavor. Sweet yet with a smooth texture — really pure and clean. Go taste this light dessert at this Seoul Forest–vibe café.

Mellows prices and who should go

This Ttukseom Station café offers great value, with even the americano priced at just ₩2,500. And the portions are generous!! I'd definitely recommend Mellows as a Seongsu dessert spot. With the weather this nice lately, sitting on the terrace for a Seongsu date sounds great too. I recommend Mellows for a Ttukseom Station café date.
