Haeundae Station café: warm egg tart and fig financier, Low & Sweet

Today I'm introducing a place with an exotic, dreamy vibe on Haeri-dan-gil in Haeundae, Busan — 'Low & Sweet Bakery' 🥨

I'd had this café saved on Naver Maps for a while~ I love egg tarts so much, and I'd heard this place was famous for them, plus the vibe looked so good, that I really wanted to come. On this Busan trip I finally made it here~~

The exotic look you come across walking Haeri-dan-gil

It's on Haeri-dan-gil and you just come across it as you walk~ The vibe is exotic from the start, and it was full when I went in the afternoon!

So pretty~~ When you travel, hitting one pretty café is half the fun!

Even the entrance put me in a good mood haha. Once inside, it really feels leisurely and relaxed, like you're on a trip enjoying dessert and coffee.

Small indoors, but Low & Sweet has open-air outdoor seating

Low & Sweet Bakery's indoor space is cozy but small — the great thing is you can head outside and enjoy the terrace (yajang) café instead‼️ You can even watch the owner brewing coffee, and since the space is small, the whole café is filled with coffee aroma ☕️☕️ They also sell coffee beans.

This is the outdoor space~ We went in summer so we couldn't use it, but I'd highly recommend it for the coming fall~~🩶

Low & Sweet Bakery's menu and when the bread comes out

The café offers free milk and vanilla milk for kids! ✅ The drink menu is organized into today's drip coffee / espresso / non-coffee / milk-based espresso The bakery selection is really varied too✨✨

👉🏻 Worth checking the bread-out times. Since each item has a different bake time, not everything comes out at once — apparently they bake again in the afternoon for freshly-baked crispness.

✅ Cookies come in chocolate chip / salted peanut / macadamia white chocolate / dark chocolate chip / banana chocolate chip ✅ Madeleines come in lemon and pistachio The cookies were loaded with toppings 🩶

The egg tart~~🩶 It looked so delicious I grabbed one right away. ‼️There's a tray and tongs beside it, so use those‼️ ✅ Financières come in fig cream cheese / new gorgonzola / pecan caramel / chocolate / plain The visuals will give you decision paralysis~~

Some desserts were already sold out, but there were also croissants and blueberry Danish.

How the warmed-up egg tart tastes

✔️ What I bought was the egg tart, the fig cream cheese financière, and an iced Americano~ 👉🏻 They warmed the egg tart up so nicely that eating it warm, with the outside crisp like pastry and the inside moist, I got why this place is famous for egg tarts‼️ The iced Americano wasn't too strong either, nutty and delicious! Highly recommend!

✔️ The fig cream cheese financière was dense, and with fig and cream cheese inside I expected it to be sweet, but it was less sweet than I thought — just right for me! I ate until full and was so happy~~ Chatted with my friend, took photos at the café — total happiness!

Right up front there's also sugar syrup so you can adjust to your taste, and for kids who can't have coffee, there's free kids' milk and vanilla milk on the menu — the owner's thoughtfulness is top notch~~
