Onion rings with dipping sauce at Dufftown Burger in Jeonpo, Busan

Today I'm bringing you a review of a delicious handmade burger I had in Jeonpo ⟡.· ⸝⸝◉◉⸝⸝ ⟡.·

There are so many good restaurants in Jeonpo that I always struggle to decide what to eat, but this time I was craving 🍔🍔 burgers 🍔🍔 so I visited Dufftown Burger Jeonpo Main Branch.

I love burgers in general and go hunting for good handmade burger spots in Busan, but this place stuck with me not just for the food but for how distinctive the interior was. It matched Jeonpo's particular vibe so well that I got to enjoy a tasty burger and browse the space at the same time.

From the exterior to the interior, a vintage atmosphere

Doesn't it already feel distinctive before you even step inside…! The exterior has a strong American-style burger joint vibe, and the interior was decorated in a vintage, antique style rather than the usual clean franchise look.

There were cute little items, posters, and plants scattered around, so it was fun to look at each one. Various signs and decorations on the walls also caught my eye, and these little touches actually made the place feel even more welcoming.

When looking for a place to eat in Jeonpo, atmosphere matters almost as much as taste, right? On that front, this place seemed like a good spot to visit with friends, and it also seemed like a comfortable option for anyone looking for a date-friendly restaurant in Jeonpo.

What we ordered between the two of us

This time I ordered three things: a double cheeseburger, a blue cheese arugula burger, and onion rings with sauce. With two of us splitting the two burger types plus the side, it turned out to be a pretty filling meal.

Double cheeseburger

First up, the double cheeseburger I tried!

True to its name, it's a burger packed with thick patties and cheese, and the patty thickness looked solid just from the look of it. One bite in, I could clearly taste the combination of meat and cheese — if you like that rich, classic burger flavor, you'd probably enjoy this one.

The cheese melted between the patties, giving it a savory, salty flavor that worked well, and the onions added a bit of crunch here and there. Personally, I prefer burgers where you can actually taste the meat rather than ones dominated purely by sauce, and the double cheeseburger delivered on that.

Blue cheese arugula burger

Next up was the blue cheese arugula burger.

It had a totally different feel from the double cheeseburger, so ordering both together made for a nice comparison. The arugula added a fresh, vegetable-forward note, and you could really taste the distinctive flavor of the blue cheese. If you like slightly unusual cheeses like blue cheese, or want something different from a standard cheeseburger, this could be worth trying 🧀

Onion rings and sauce — a sauce you end up dipping the burger in too

And personally, the menu item that surprised me the most was the onion rings with sauce.

A generous portion of crispy fried onion rings came out along with a dipping sauce. The onion rings themselves were crispy and delicious, but what I really liked was the sauce that came with them.

At first I obviously only planned to dip the onion rings in it, but the sauce was so good that I later ended up dipping the burger in it too. It went surprisingly well with the burger, so I ended up dipping all sorts of things into it. So instead of just ordering a burger, I'd recommend getting the onion rings as a side too 🍟

How was it as a Jeonpo burger spot?

Overall, this meal was quite satisfying between the two burger types and the side. If I come back, I'd like to try one of the other burger menu items next time.
