When you think of Jeonju, Jeonju Hanok Village is impossible to leave out! I wandered the pretty hanok alleyways, tried all kinds of snacks, and poked into every corner — time just flew by while I walked.

But after roaming the stone walls and lanes all day, my legs got stiff and my feet grew heavy with fatigue. Looking for somewhere special to rest my tired feet and body mid-trip, I found a foot bath café in Jeonju Hanok Village where you can soak your feet while taking in a gorgeous view of hanok tiled roofs! Here's my honest, detailed review from visiting in person.

Walking along the main street of Jeonju Hanok Village, you'll spot an entrance marked by a cute footprint shape and a Pinocchio character. The footprint-shaped standee by the road kindly points the way up to the view café and lets you know you can enjoy a 'foot bath' there — easy to find even on a first visit.

Climbing the stairs, a big yellow sign catches your eye! It clearly lays out the 'healing course,' a must-try at Jeonju Hanok Village.

It felt like the most complete package imaginable for unwinding a travel-weary body.

Inside, it's practically Siberia! A wooden Pinocchio figure with a witty message — 'You've worked hard, 30 minutes of rest, a date course for couples' — greeted me warmly. It felt like the perfect space to cool off on a hot day or warm up on a cold one while traveling.

An interior you'll fall for — the view and the comfort

Stepping inside, warm wood interiors and a gorgeous view through the windows greet you at once. What I loved was that every single foot bath seat faces the window! Outside, the charming tiled roofs of Jeonju Hanok Village blend with lush green trees like a painting.

The view of Jeonju Hanok Village through the window was calming all on its own. Being able to sit still and take in the beautiful lines of hanok roof tiles and scenery I'd missed while hurrying through the streets was a real pleasure.

As I started the foot bath, dipping my feet into the warm water and sipping a cool, sweet drink, refreshing sweetness spread through my mouth. The fatigue built up during the trip seemed to melt away instantly.

The interior was also kept very clean and hygienic. Each seat came with its own foot bath basin, a neatly arranged massager, and a towel, making it easy to relax comfortably.

Once you sit at the seat of your choice, the owner kindly explains how to use the foot bath. Add the aroma salt to the warm water and dip your feet in, and a warm sensation begins to spread through your whole body.

You're also given a wooden pressure stick to use while soaking. Pressing it firmly into the tense pressure points on the soles of my feet felt incredibly satisfying.

There's also a roomy personal locker where you can safely store your shoes, bag, and other belongings without worrying about losing them. I felt the care for travelers in every detail.

With the warmth, the soft lighting, and the lyrical interior showing off hanok-style beams and rafters, I experienced a healing that calmed even my mind.
